Scabbard lacking. An example exists in the National Army Museum and bears the serial no. 462 on the blade and 463 on the steel mounted leather scabbard. Wilkinson manufactured 28 similar pieces though specifically for Officers.

A VICTORIAN PATENT SOLID HILT LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD TO THE FOURTH HUSSARS BY WILKINSON, 89cm fullered blade etched with scrolling foliage, regimental motifs, crowned VR cypher, crowned Royal Arms and the owner's initials A. G. C. B. and stamped with the serial no. 33047, regulation steel three-bar patent solid hilt, wire bound grip, contained in its field service scabbard. Complete with a copy of the Wilkinson Sword register entry, confirming the sword was made for A. G. C. Bruce of the 4th Hussars 26th February 1895. Bruce left the 4th Hussars after a very short period and later was the subject of a libel writ issued by Winston Churchill.

HMS Emerald was a 51 gun Frigate launched in 1856, serving in the Channel Fleet, and sold in 1869.

AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY SCOTTISH DIRK IN THE GEORGIAN STYLE, 28.25cm fullered blade with faceted back edge, white metal mounted hilt with basket weave carved wooden grip, contained in its white metal mounted black leather wrapped wooden scabbard, complete with companion knife and fork decorated to match, together with a horn handled kukri with engraved blade and leather wrapped wooden scabbard.
A FIRST PATTERN F-S WILKINSON COMMANDO KNIFE OR DAGGER OF No.9 COMMANDO AND ST NAZAIRE INTEREST, 16cm flattened diamond section blade etched to the ricasso with the F-S and Wilkinson motifs, regulation hilt with recurved guard, the pommel stamped 30946 to one side and 412 to the other, chequered grip, contained in its leather scabbard. 30946 is the Field Force Unit Number for No. 9 Commando. Of particular note, amongst other landings, No.9 Commando formed part of the demolition teams that were involved in the St Nazaire raid. Belt frog repaired.
TWO VARIOUS INDIAN TULWAR, the first 19th Century and with 75cm sharply curved blade, characteristic hilt with disc pommel, sun form boss with spiked tang button, together with another similar, possibly 18th Century and with patinated watered steel blade, pommel lacking and contained in its worn scabbard. A RARE ETHIOPIAN MENELIK II KING'S GUARD SWORD WITH RHINOCEROS HORN HILT, 77.75 curved fullered blade profusely etched with geometric designs of an architectural form and with St George and the Dragon and a profile of Menelik II to either side of the forte, characteristic Rhinoceros horn two-piece hilt contained in its tooled leather scabbard. Menelik II (1844-1913) reigned from 1889-1913 confronting and defeating the Italians in their attempts to expand their empire.
