There is evidence of something being attached to the tip of the scabbard which is now missing.The horn handled keris is generally in good order with no obvious significant faults.The larger keris has a carved wood handle which has three splits. Otherwise no further obvious faults.All blades are intact and the metal discoloured.

A 19th century French Dragoon sword, with 95cm blade and pierced brass hilt, with scabbard.Additional InformationThe blade is heavily tarnished and marked with some pitting, the back of the blade does have original engraved writing but this is indistinct, the brass mounts tarnished throughout and general tarnishing throughout the scabbard.

The blade is heavily rusted with Sellotape banding, the handle is af with loses. The scabbard is also af with large areas of loss, cracks and splits. The tape is holding the lacquered scabbard together, the tape around the blade is not holding the blade together, although the blade is af. with numerous gouges, areas of rust, there is an area of tape which is holding the blade on to the hilt, we are unable to remove the pin, so we unfortunately cannot remove the hilt.
