Waistcoat of cream silk (Complete with buttons) ... Breeches of blue velvet Complete with cut steel buckles .... Cocked Hat of black material with black silk rosette and five cut steel chains. The interior with quilted black cotton lining, this bearing tailor’s label ... Black stockings ... Shoes of black patent leather, fitted with a pair of cut steel buckles ... Black cloth and velvet sword frog ... Court Sword, the blade with etched decoration, the hilt with gilt shell guard, single bar guard and the solid gilt grip is surmounted by an urn pommel. Contained in original black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. Complete with bullion sword knot. GC gilt dulled.... The whole contained in a metal storage tin, this has been repainted but retains original brass name plaque of ‘The Hon Lord Blackburn’. The inside lid with the tailor’s details of ‘J. Brown wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and enamelled circular SA device. Housed in original brown scabbard with nickel plated mounts, the top one with single suspension ring retaining black leather hanging strap (stamped 2/371/70) with spring clip by Assmann with RZM logo and DRGM M5/8. A few small spots of rust on blade otherwise GC. SA (Sturmabteilung) ‘Brown Shirts’ dagger introduced in 1933.

Gilded brass mounts with twist wire bound simulated ivory grip; eagle and swastika pommel. Housed in its gilded brass scabbard with lightening bolt designs and retaining both suspension rings. Hairline to grip, gilding worn to brass. GC Introduced in 1938.

Housed in its plated scabbard retaining both loose suspension rings and the top suspension strap. Generally VGC Army (Heer) Officer’s dagger was designed by Paul Casburg in 1935.
German. Third Reich NSKK dagger by Neidhardt u. Schmidt, Brotterode. A good post 1936 example by a scarce maker. The blade etched ‘Alles fŸr Deutschland’ and bearing faint maker’s logo. Brown wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and swastika and enamelled circular SA device, nickel fittings, reverse of crossguard with ‘BO’ (Group Bayerische Ostmark). Housed in black painted scabbard, the top nickel plated mount with single suspension ring. Generally VGC. NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) wore standard SA daggers from 1933 until 1936 when black scabbards were adopted.

Flash gilt mounts with twist wire bound simulated ivory grip; eagle and swastika pommel. Housed in its flash gilt metal scabbard with lightening bolt designs and retaining both suspension rings. Minor rust to forte. GC gilt remains bright. Retains one simulated silk velvet backed suspension strap with matching flash gilt hooks and lions head billet ... Also bullion dagger knot. Introduced in 1938.

The hilt of the regulation style, with brass crossguard, langets, single knuckle guard and flat pommel. Shagreen grip with wire binding. Overall age wear, hilt backstrap loose, some pitting to the blade, scabbard absent.

Mid Victorian Royal Engineers Sword By Wilkinson of London. This example is attributed to Colonel Herbert Paget Knocker who was commissioned into the Royal Engineers in 1863. The single edged slightly curved blade with etched decoration depicting a reverse entwined crowned VR cypher. The obverse with the regimental title, a family armourial crest and initials ‘H.P.K.’. The forte with the cutler’s details of Wilkinson and the blade is numbered ‘12958’ (1864). The hilt of the regimental pattern, with a honeysuckle guard and shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in steel scabbard. Overall GC blade etching clear, scabbard with light pitting Colonel Herbert Paget Knocker was commissioned in June 1863, Captain 1877, Major 1883, Lt Col 1890, Brevet Colonel 1894 and retired 1895
Late 19th Century German Heavy Cavalry Trooper’s Sword. A good example, with slightly curved single edged blade. this with issue stamps to the backstrap, indicating 1880. The hilt with a three bar open guard and leather covered ribbed grip. Housed in original steel scabbard fitted with two loose rings and issue stamps of ‘5 CH R 5’. Some service wear GC.
