A late 19th century Japanese katana with shagreen grip and floral decorated tsuba (af), in wooden scabbard with leather cover, length 104cm. CONDITION REPORT: Area of grip where tsuba meets blade is af. A peg is missing. To both sides of peg aperture the shagreen is damaged. Blade length is 73cm from tsuba to tip. Areas of tarnish and staining to blade. Very minor nibbles to edge of blade, and some scratches.
