An Imperial German naval officer's sword, plain slender pipe back blade 32", with maker's mark and GE at forte, regulation brass hilt with traces of gilt, turn up outer shell guard with crowned fouled anchor, turn down inner portion, knucklebow and lion's head pommel and backstrap, the hilt decorated overall with laurel, red and green eyes to lion (port and starboard) wirebound ivory grip, in its brass mounted leather scabbard. An unusual Third Reich Army officer's sword, blade 323/4", by Eickhorn, bright plated stirrup hilt with eagle and swastika pommel, the crosspiece eagle with angular outstretched wings, wire bound black plastic grip, in its black painted scabbard with leather belt strap and light canvas shoulder strap to go under the uniform. Basically GC (some wear and rust marks, plating and fishskin worn)

GC (centre section of blade lightly pitted, hilt and scabbard mounts cleaned over light pitting, scabbard leather worn).

A good ERII officer's 1821 pattern sword of the R Army Service Corps, slightly curved, fullered blade 34", by Wilkinson Sword Ltd, no 86250 (1963), etched with crowned ERII cypher, regimental badge and laurel wreath within Union wreath panels, regulation plated hilt, wirebound fishskin grip, in its plated scabbard, with leather knot and oilskin cover. Near VGC, retaining most original polish and plating (lower 12" of blade cleaned, 8" section of scabbard plating bubbled). (Please see lot 801 for image)

GC, the blade retaining a little original polish (hilt and scabbard leather some wear)

A German 1871 type undress bayonet, blade with traces of etching, WM crossguard with ring, brass grip with spring, but no button or slot, in its brass mounted leather scabbard, the crossguard and scabbard top mount marked "76.R.8.39". Basically GC (some wear, markings at forte erased, abrasion to blade).
An interesting cruciform hilted masonic sword, in its brass mounted leather scabbard; the hilt unscrews to allow the whole to be concealed in a leather covered walking 'cane' with plated pommel and ferrule, overall 35", (lower 6" of leather cover replaced); and a similar sword in a 11/4" square section leather covered case, overall 33".
