A German K98 bayonet, with associated scabbard and leather frog.Bakelite grips, with blued steel blade and pommel.Stamped with the manufacturers mark W.K.C..Stamped 6925 to the blade, and 056 59K to the cross guard.The scabbard has a non matching serial number of 4214.Waffenamt marked in several places.Approximately 40.5cm length.Condition: very good.Much of the original blueing still present - some minor scratching to the Bakelite grips.Spring loaded button to the pommel works as it should.Leather all good, with only minimal service wear.

WW2 German Police bayonet by Paul Weyersberg & Co Solingen.Complete with leather frog and knot.A very nice example, with matched numbers to the bayonet and scabbard, antler grips to the handle, nickel plated mounts, and an applied police badge to the handle.Approximate length of 48.3cm.Condition: very good.Minimal wear to the metal areas, plus the antler handles are intact.Scabbard is clean, with only normal service wear.The leather frog has a split next to the hole where the bayonet attaches.The knot is in good condition, with minimal service wear.
WW2 era German Heer army officers dagger, by F.W. Holler of Solingen.Orange grips with nickel plated fitting.Cross guard the German NSDAP symbol and eagle.Straight double edged blade with etched maker mark.Complete with associated scabbard, with usual pebbled finish and double ring hanger attachment.Additionally there is a bullion knot attached to the scabbard.Approximately 39cm length.Condition: Some fractures and loss to the handle.All over darkening and patination to the metal.The blade remains relatively bright.A few shallow dents to the scabbard, plus the bullion knot has some service wear.
A scarce Polish M1921 officers cavalry sword, by Gabriel Borowski.Brass cross guard, knuckle guard, and pommel, the latter secured with a brass screw.Black leather grip with brass wire binding.Polished steel blade marked ‘ G.Borowski Warszawa’ at the ricasso.The blade is single edged, and singled fullered to both sides, with a slight curve.Complete with black painted scabbard with 2 ring attachments.Approximately 95.5cm length including scabbard, blade length approximately 77cm.Condition: generally very good.Hilt, grips, and wire binding all in good condition.The black leather to the grip has gently worn and shows as lighter patches on the surface from handling.The wire binding has remnants of old metal polish ingrained in the grooves.The brass elements are all good, with normal service wear and light contact marks. There are some tiny areas of surface corrosion spotting to the brass, but these are not detrimental.Good finish to the blade, with minor corrosion area near the ricasso.The scabbard has a few light dents, and there is some minor paint loss, but is on the whole good.
WW2 German K98 and scabbard with mismatched numbers.Bakelite grip with diagonal ridges.Maker marked WKC to the ricasso for Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie.Blued blade with evidence of sharpening in the past.Approximately 40.5cm length with the scabbard - blade length 25.2cm.Condition: generally fair.Pitting to the pommel and scabbard, plus the scabbard has paint loss.Grips are good and show only normal service wear.The spring clip in the pommel also works as it should.The blade is good, and retains most of its original bluing - old sharpening marks to the edge of the blade.
WW1 German artillery officers sword.Slightly curved blade with fuller to both sides.Celluloid grip with wire binding, steel lion head pommel, knuckle guard and cross guard - traces of original gilt finish in places.Crossed cannons motif to the langet.Complete with black painted scabbard.Seemingly non maker marked.Approximately 96cm length.Condition: much loss of gilt finish with only traces remaining.Surface marks and minor corrosion in places.Blade is clean with only minor mottling.Some paint loss to the scabbard
An SA dagger, marked RZM M7/66 for Carl Eickhorn - dated 1941.Wooden grips with inlaid NSDAP eagle and SA roundel.Nickel plated cross guard and pommel.The blade is engraved with the usual motto ‘Alles Fur Deutshland.Complete with its original brown painted scabbard and leather hanging strap - the nickel mount on this is marked RZM M5/71.Approximately 38cm length.Condition: Most of the nickel plating to the nickel mounts is present and free from any pitting.There are minor chips / scuffs to the painted scabbard.Minor light scuffing to the blade.Some score lines to the wooden handles on both sides.Small amount of crushing to the rounded tip of the scabbard.The leather hanger tab is slightly dry and cracked, but is intact.
A German M1884-98 bayonet with non matching numbered scabbard.The blade with date code for 1935, and the scabbard with date code for 1934.Plain wooden grips with flash guard to hilt.Plus, a later WW2 era K98 bayonet, marked ‘41 fnj’ to the blade.This example with ridged Bakelite grips - lacking scabbard.Condition: generally good.Normal service wear commensurate with age and use to both.Some dents to the scabbard of the M1884-98 example.The later example has a missing spring loaded button to the pommel.Also, minor pitting to the blade.
A vintage Kukri knife with leather scabbard with accompanying ‘karda’ and ‘chakmak’ small knives.The Kukri also has a white metal cover, profusely decorated on the repousee manner and set with semi-precious stones (according to attached label, this is low grade silver).Length including white metal cover 35cm.Condition: generally good.Some tiny holes to the white metal cover from polishing and wear.The internal leather scabbard has some scuffs from wear, and the blade has some marks and evidence of sharpening.
A 20th century divers knife by Siebe Gorman & Co.Type 4 pattern, with ring turned and waisted wooden handle.Brass cross guard with steel blade, with the makers mark stamped to the blade.Complete with original brass scabbard, with drainage hole at the narrow end.The scabbard would of originally had a leather strap attached to the slot, but this is now absent.Length 33cm in scabbard, blade length 19.4cm.Condition: generally good.Wooden handle is free of damage and securely fixed.The brass scabbard is has dark patination and there are one or two very small spots of verdigris.The scabbard also has a small shallow dent near the flared part, but this isn’t detrimental.The steel blade has darkened in places and there are some minor surface rust patches near the tip of the blade on both sides.
Cold War era Russian naval dress dagger, with associated belt and hanging straps.Yellow celluloid grip with brass fittings and leather scabbard.8-1/4 inch blade with makers mark and 1960 date.S shaped quillon with push button blade release.Fouled anchor engraved motif to the scabbard, and the metal belt fittings and buckle.An ink stamp to the belt would suggest a manufacturing date of 1962.Approximately 34cm in length (when in scabbard).Condition: generally very good.The blade is bright and clean, with the brass fitting having tarnished a little.Minor contact marks to the leather part of the scabbard.The push release button for the blade seems to be ineffective, and the blade may be pulled from the scabbard without using it.The belt has some minor soiling, mainly to the inner side from wear.The reverse of the buckle has some minor corrosion, and there are some small spots to the front of the buckle, but this does not affect the overall appearance.
3 Vintage khukuri knives, each with water buffalo horn handles.2 likely dating from the second half of the 20th century, with one retaining its scabbard and 2 smaller karda and chakmak knives.This example also has a Gurkha badge attached to the leather scabbard.The 3rd example is also complete with its scabbard and smaller knives.The blade is marked ‘NKH’ at the ricasso to one side, and ‘Nepal 2007’ to the other side.Sizes vary, with the longest including scabbard is 44.5cm.Condition: some wear from storage and use.The example without the scabbard shows wear to the blade.The example with the applied Gurkha badge shows light surface rust to the karda and chakmak.The leather to the scabbards appears to be in good condition.
An AKM type 1 bayonet, with one piece plastic grip and rounded pommel.;Stainless steel blade and steel scabbard, incorporating a wire cutter.Leather belt loop with retaining strap.Plus, a Spanish Mauser M1941 bolo bayonet with scabbard, with the M1943 adaptor attached.Condition: generally good.Normal service wear to both items.The Spanish bayonet has evidence of sharpening to the bottom 3rd of the blade, plus some contact marks to the scabbard.The leather retaining strap on the AKM has split.
A WW2 era Kriegsmarine Naval Officers dress dagger, by Paul Weyersberg & Co of Solingen.Brass cross guard with fouled anchor to both sides, a push button blade release.Ivory white celluloid grips with wire twists, eagle and swastika to the pommel.Blade etched with fouled anchor and dolphins to both sides.Etched maker marked to the ricasso.Standard brass scabbard with engraved lightning flash detail, oak leaf banding and 2 suspension rings.Notes: according to information supplied by the vendor, the dagger was acquired by his father from an officer from the German battleship, Scharnhorst.Approximately 41.3cm length including the scabbard - blade length 24.9cm.Condition: some cracking to the celluloid handle, but the grip remains solid and without movement.Minor darkening to the blade and some very minor pitting near the ricasso.Some minor denting to the scabbard near the chape.
A WW1 / Weimar era German cavalry officers dress sword.Brass cross guard with lions head detail.Knuckle guard with cast oak leaf detail.Wire bound black celluloid grip with decorative back strap and lions head pommel.Languet to both sides, one with crossed sabres, and other with plain oval cartouche within a laurel wreath.Fullered, slightly curved steel blade, with no apparent makers marks.Complete with black painted scabbard.Approximately 98.8cm length including scabbard.Condition: generally good.The brass guard is good, retaining a good shape and level of detail.Many of the recesses have ingrained old polish from cleaning.The steel blade has darkened in places and has some areas of light surface corrosion.Some light nicks to the cutting edge of the blade in places.The scabbard is good, and shows only light paint loss from use.
A George V British Infantry Officer's sword, the 82cms etched blade with inscription 'Presented to Lieutenant and Quartermaster G.H. Martin, by the Sergeants Mess of the 1st Battalion Wiltshire Regiment', with standard hilt around fish-skin grip, fitted full metal scabbard, 101cms long overall.
