An African axe, Fon people, Benin, narrow iron blade fixed via a collar to a right-angled projection at the head of the wooden haft, a rectangular striking block set to the reverse, length 46 cm; together with a small European axe, heavy forged head, plain haft, length 24 cm; also together with: two Moroccan daggers (jambiya), each with slightly curved and bi-fullered blade 9 in., silver mounted hilts with characteristic fan shaped pommels, silver clad scabbard with foliate decoration in low relief. 1907 pattern bayonet marked at the ricasso 'Lithgow 1919' with the Lithgow Star above a shield with 1907 within, indicating manufacture in the Lithgow Small Arms Factory New South Wales, Australia, with a metal bound leather scabbard with canvas belt loop. Straight fullered blade (L 43cm) with rounded spine. Ricassso also marked with two further Lithgow stars flanking an 'X'. Total Length drawn 55cm, in scabbard 58cm.
1897 Pattern Infantry Officer's sword with leather field scabbard. Straight blade (82cm) with half fuller channel, etched with scrolls and floral motifs and the motto 'Dum Spiro Spero' surrounding an 'S' as well as the maker's name - Henry Wilkinson - and the Fleur de Lys. Impressed number to spine 31963. Basket guard with cypher for Queen Victoria, wired shagreen grip and knurled metal backstrap. Overall length 97cm drawn, 103cm in scabbard.

A George V 1845 Pattern British Officer's dress sword by Wilkinson, etched blade with GR monogram and inscription CP HINNELL ESQre 27th LANCASHIRE RIFLES VOLrs, blade length 81cm, folding brass hilt with GR monogram, wire bound fish skin grip and metal scabbard, total length 97.5cm. Condition - ding in scabbard, round inlaid piece missing in blade, blade slightly kinked towards end, general wear throughout, Henry Wilkinson maker’s name is engraved on the blade.
A WW1 ERA IMPERIAL GERMAN FORCES OFFICERS SWORD, the sword has the crisp markings of the maker Weyersberb Kirschbaum & Cle Solingen and the helmet/WK&C. The blade is in very good condition, and the black metal scabbard is in nice undamaged condition, Brass handguard has some Gothic text which has not been possible to read, as to the head of the pommel with initials, the Kaisers Wilhelm II crest is formed in the handguard, with a much smaller crest applied to the Shark fin grip
A GERMAN SA DAGGER MADE BY GOTTFRIED WEYERSBERG SOHNE OF SOLINGEN, this dagger is complete with its scabbard, the blade has the motto ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND on it and the cross guard is stamped NM, the blade could do with being cleaned and there are some visible cracks in the handle, the plated end of the scabbard is also slightly loose
GERMAN WWI TRENCH KNIFE, & A FAIRBAIRN SYKES FIGHTING KNIFE, the German Trench knife comes complete with a metal scabbard and leather attachment, blade length 13.5cm with wooden ribbed grip, the Fairbairn Sykes is clearly marked on the Cast grip with the markings of the J.Nowill & Sons Co, Sheffield, who were one of the recognised makers of this dagger, grip is a two part casting, was common on the 3rd type, made by this Company, The Dagger comes with a leather sheath
A TWENTIETH CENTURY OFFICERS DRESS SWORD WITH A BASKET HILT, the sword itself is in good condition but is rubbed in places and the top edge of the blade has got some contact marks, there is a Royal Crown on the hilt and we believe this sword was produced by Wilkinson of London, there is some minor wear to the handle grip and the scabbard
