Reliefiertes Buntmetall-Bügelgefäß mit reliefiertem Rokoko-Dekor an der Knaufkappe, original belederte Hilze (geschrumpft, berieben, kleine Fehlstellen). Gut erhaltene Scheide (kleine Druckstellen) mit Holzkern und schwarzer Belederung sowie beidseitig reich reliefierten Buntmetallbeschlägen, daran getriebene Voluten und Blattornamente, begleitet von punzierten Flächen, zwei bewegliche Trageringe. Annibal". Am Klingenrücken geätzte Herstellermarke von Zlatoust "Zlat. Or. Fabr". Das aufwendig verzierte Gefäß in Niellotechnik mit aufgelegtem, emailliertem St.-Anna-Orden (gechipt) und aufgelegtem Bandeau mit Inschrift "Für Tapferkeit". Belederte Scheide mit ebenfalls aufwendig in Niellotechnik verzierten silbernen Beschlägen. Mundblech mit eingravierter kyrillischer Abkürzung "U.V.S" (wohl Уральский Войсковой Старшина). Beschläge teils mit Feingehaltspunze für 84 zolotniki. Länge 91 cm. Komplett mit originalem Portepee und Gehänge mit en suite gearbeiteten Beschlägen aus Silber. Seltene und bedeutende Blankwaffe. Arkady Nestorovich Annibal (Gannibal): Offizier und Adjutant von General der Kavallerie Nikolai Nikolaevich Baratov (Vertreter der Freiwilligenarmee und der Streitkräfte des Südens Russlands bei General A. I. Denikin in der Regierung Georgien). Nach einigen Angaben der Nachkomme von General Abram Petrovich Gannibal. Absolvierte 1912 die Kaiserliche Rechtsschule. Während des Bürgerkriegs verließ Annibal den Ural in Richtung Fernost und hatte später Militärdienst im Iran. Er gründete ethnografische Museen in Teheran und Qazvin, leitete das Museum und die Bibliothek in Abadan, liebte orientalische Sprachen, schrieb Gedichte auf Russisch und Französisch, spielte Klavier und Geige und beschäftigte sich mit Malerei und Bildhauerei. Arkady Nestorovich Annibal (Gannibal) was an officer and adjutant of General of the Cavalry Nikolai Nikolaevich Baratov (representative of the Volunteer Army and the Armed Forces of South Russia under General A. I. Denikin in the government of Georgia). According to several accounts, he was descended from General Abram Petrovich Gannibal. He graduated from the Imperial School of Jurisprudence in 1912. During the civil war, Annibal left Ural for the Far East and later did military service in Iran. He founded ethnographic museums in Teheran and Qazvin, managed the museum and library in Abadan, loved oriental languages, wrote poetry in Russian and French, played the piano and violin, and engaged in painting and sculpture. Messing-Bügelgefäß mit drei Terzspangen, Fischhauthilze mit dreifacher Drahtwicklung und terzseitig aufgelegtem emaillierten Gardestern, anhängender lederner Faustriemen in Offiziersausführung. Vernickelte Stahlscheide mit einem beweglichen Tragering. Dabei zwei weißlederne Gehängeteile (Karabinerhaken defekt). Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge 117 cm. Klasse in den Befreiungskriegen 1813 Geschwungene, breit gekehlte Rückenklinge mit zweischneidiger Spitze, über der Fehlschärfe zu etwa einem Drittel mit vergoldeten Trophäen und Lorbeerzweigen sowie Herstellerätzung "S & S", "in Solingen" (Schimmelbusch & Sohn). Das Messinggefäß mit teils erhaltener Feuervergoldung und reliefiertem Trophäen-, Eichenlaub- und Akanthusdekor an Bügel und am Griffrücken, die Parierlappen mit terzseitig aufgelegtem Landwehrkreuz, quartseitig mit Trophäen, die Parierstange gepunzt "1 7 7 2" und mit undeutlicher Marke. Lederbezogenes Griffstück mit feiner Messingdrahtwicklung. Messingscheide mit zwei beweglichen Trageringen und eisernem Schleppblech, der obere Tragering mit anhängender Sammlungsplombe. Unterhalb des Mundblechs Gravur "Major K.L.F.v.Hellwig - 12.04.1813 EK II - 23.04.1813 EK I". Dazu der lederne (beschädigt) Faustriemen mit silberner Quaste. Länge des Säbels 94,5 cm, Gesamtlänge 102 cm.Wunderschöner und historisch bedeutender Säbel in sehr schöner Erhaltung.Rudolf Karl Friedrich Heinrich Ludwig von Hellwig tritt 1790 als Junker dem Husarenregiment von Koehler Nr. 3 bei, nimmt 1792-94 am Feldzug gegen Frankreich teil, wird 1794 Kornett, 1799 Secondelieutenant, wird 1806/07 beim Überfall auf Eisenach verwundet und erhält hierfür am 23.2.1807 der Pour le Mérite. 1812 wird er Major und erhält für die Langensalza neben dem Eisernen Kreuz II. Klasse auch den russischen St.-Georgs-Orden 4. Klasse. Wenige Tage später wird ihm für den Überfall bei Wanfried am 18.4.1813 das Eiserne Kreuz I. Klasse verliehen. Im März 1815 wird er Kommandeur des 9. Husarenregiments, im Oktober zum Oberstlieutenant und 1819 zum Oberst ernannt. 1830 wird er Kommandeur der 15. Kavalleriebrigade, 1831 Generalmajor und erhält - neben zahlreichen weiteren Auszeichnungen zuvor - 1836 den Roten Adlerorden II. Klasse mit Eichenlaub. 1838 wird er mit einer jährlichen Pension von 2250 Talern als Generallieutenant verabschiedet. Ehemals feuervergoldetes Messingbügelgefäß mit fein reliefiertem Blüten- und Blattdekor, am Griffrücken die Tughra Abdülhamids II. in Strahlenkranz und über Trophäenbündel, der Parierlappen terzseitig mit erneutem Hoheitszeichen des Osmanischen Reichs und quartseitig mit der tief geschlagenen Namensbezeichnung "v.d. Golz". Fischhauthilze mit Messingdrahtwicklung. Vernickelte Stahlscheide (partiell fleckig) mit zwei beweglichen Trageringen und Schleppblech. Imperial German Mauser 1898 Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and long cross guard. Housed in its black leather and brass mounted scabbard. Regimental markings to the rear of the top scabbard mount. Piped back blade as found in the Prussian model 1860 bayonet. Crowned acceptance stamp with ‘W 68’ and crowned mark underneath, reverse side with makers details of ‘W CLAUBERG SOLINGEN’. Blade 51cms, overall 65 ½ cms.

Imperial German KAR 98 Bayonet, good untouched as found example with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and housed in its steel scabbard with an original 1915 dated leather frog attached. The frog has the original bayonet trodel / knot attached. Standard blade with fuller to the back edge. J A Henckels makers mark. Some staining and wear to the blade but otherwise a good example. Blade measures 25cms, overall 41cms.

WW2 German Army Officers Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen, with orange celluloid grip, pommel with oakleaves relief and cross guard in the form of German army eagle and swastika. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is an original but well worn pair of brocade dress hangers which appear to have been painted silver at one time. Double edged blade with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen makers trade mark. The dagger blade retains some of the original cross graining. Blade 25cms, overall 40cms.
