A German WWI period Luftwaffe Type One Dress dagger by R A Herde, Solingen:, the straight double edge blade with makers mark to ricasso, nickel drooping hilt with central swastika, wire bound blue leather grip with circular pommel decorated en suite, in a silver plate mounted blue leather scabbard with suspension chain, blade length 30.5cm., also a copy of a photograph of the daggers owner on his wedding day.*Notes- Reputedly given by the Luftwaffe pilot to his captors as a thank you for his treatment as a POW.

An Eastern brass articulated fish with red enamelled eyes, 46.5 cm long, together with an Eastern brass and coppered dagger with horse head handle housed in a pierced foliate and flowerhead-decorated scabbard, 35.5 cm long CONDITION REPORTS Basically sound though with some denting to the fish's tail and some lifting to the scales at the end. See images. The piece has obviously been cleaned with polish as residue is extant throughout. The eyes appear to be slightly different in size and colour but otherwise sound. The gills or side fins appear to have been damgaed then repaired to one side with small iron or steel pin. See images for further detail. The dagger is brass plated on to copper and has wear throughout again with polish residue. The blade is rusty in several areas. See images for further details.

A George V officer's dress sword by Henry Wilkinson of Pall Mall London with pierced knuckle guard bearing Royal cypher, shagreen and wirework grip, housed in a leather covered scabbard, 99.5 cm long overall CONDITION REPORTS This piece may be packaged for collection by courier. Commission bids may be sent by email. Scabbard in poor condition with stitching loose or missing pretty much throughout and tape holding it together to the centre. The blade is basically sound though with areas of rust throughout. See images for further detail. The grip and knuckle guard again with wear and tear conducive with age. Blade does not appear to be bent out of shape. Pommel does not appear to have any jiggle. Wire grips appear intact though slightly bent in places. See images. Scabbard 83 cm long. Blade 81.5 cm long. Length overall of sword 97.5 cm.serial number 52542.

US M1840 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Sabre. 875mm curved and fullered single edged blade. No maker marks, but die stamped "CS". Brass guard and wire bound leather grip. Overall length 102cm. Complete with steel scabbard with twin suspension rings. Drag is marked "US". This pattern of sword was used by both sides in the American Civil War.

Together with an Indo-Persian knife with single edged fullered blade, no marking. Stylized Horse's head pommel. Complete with scabbard in brown leather with white metal fittings.(2)

Pommel stamped with Union of South Africa WD stamp with additional "SAP 6927" accountability marking. Release press stud functions. Overall length 555mm. Complete with scabbard, frog stud marked "SAP" and brown leather frog also "SAP" marked along with "RSA" stamp.
