A 20th Century Omani Khanjar/Jambiya, the 19cm curved steel blade with raised medial ridge, the horn grip with silver mounts, the L shape scabbard with silver filigree and plaited wire securing the four rings to the belt bar The blade has rust patches. The silver mounts to the horn grip have thick glue or filler under them. There are small dents to the back. The scabbard is undamaged, but the green velvet backing has lost its pile. The metalwork is tarnished
A 20th Century Omani Khanjar/Jambiya, the 20cm curved steel blade with raised medial ridge, the horn grip with silver mounts, the L shape scabbard with silver filigree and beaded graduating square decoration, with strands of plaited silver wire securing the seven ring attachments The blade has black and rust patches to the surface. The grip mounts need attaching more firmly as they tend to spring loose. The right hand side tip of the horn grip has some damage. The velvet backing to the scabbard is worn and the silver mounts have dents to the undecorated panels.
