Bayonet: A scarce Pattern 1917 U.S. Great War bayonet for the P.17 rifle. On the left hand of the ricasso the Pattern date reads 1918 instead of 1917. It is not clear if this was a Remington factory error. In any event this is a scarce marking. In its associated steel mounted leather scabbard with U.S belt hook and marked 'JEWELL 1918'. Good blade and condition. Minor wear to grips.
Bayonet: Pattern 1887 MKIII sword bayonet for the Martini - Henry Rifle. In its steel mounted leather scabbard (Locket with Indian Farsi markings). Plain unfullered blade 18.25". Ricasso dated 1889 & 'WILKINSON SWORD COMPANY LONDON' and 'WD' inspection marks. Good (hand worn) grips. A decent example, some dents to scabbard fittings.
Chinese 19th century 'Hudiedo' or 'Butterfly Sword'. This is a double sword (i.e. two swords in the same scabbard which give the appearance of only one sword). Blades 28" (approx). Plain wooden grips. Brass furniture (one pommel absent). In its rayskin and bass mounted scabbard with simple decoration. Worn overall, circa 1870-1900
Early 1800's Cavalry Officers Mameluke sword. This design of sword originated from the Egyptian Campaign of 1801-1802. This appears to be an early Napoleonic 'fighting' Mameluke with a plain steel crossguard with ball finials, horn grip secured by two rivets. Curved pipe back blade 31" with chipped back spear point. Blade is well engraved with acanthus type scrolling. In its iron scabbard with two hanging rings (repainted black). Minor scrape to top of horn grip. Nice early fighting sword
German Nazi S.A. dagger of the early production period. 1933-1935. Made by 'Hammersfaht Cie of Solingen'. This maker shown as rarity 7 (10 = extremely rare: 1 = very common) on Siegerts scale. Approx 15,000 only made by this manufacturer. Overall in good condition (cross guard some movement blade needs resealing). In its steel scabbard with nickel mounts & Zapron coating. No area marking. Blade with 'Alles fur Deutschland' logo. A good dagger by a scarce maker.
German Nazi S.A. dagger of the late production period 1939 to 1942. Polished bade marked 'RZM' and 'M7/42'. In its scabbard with early type hanger. Made by W.K.C. (Weyenberg Kirschbaum & Co) Waffenfabrik Solingen-Wald. This dagger is in extremely good condition. Polished blade etched 'Alles fur Desutschland' & 'R2M-7/42. Collectors grade item.
Japanese Katana. A civilian sword outfitted for military duty. Blade 26" (stained with minor rust to edge). Handle of dried out wood of some age with worn brown tape. Metal covered wooden scabbard (rusted) in its leather field service scabbard with integral hanging ring. This sword has the appearance of some age. A plain piece in worn condition.

Pierced brass tsuba. A fine blade with hamon, 27.5". Signed nakago. *a note with sword states ''General Shokari Shi Moto. 8th Area Army. - Kotaro - Shimoto". Command 9th Artillery June 1944. Japanese WW2 Type 98 Shin-Gunto. Good heavy blade 28". Iron Tsuba with interesting raised figures. Rayskin same with light brown tape binding and two menuki. The Kashira has a delightful bronze raised rabbit motif to top. In its leather bound wooden scabbard with single Ast. Long curved handle 11", (minor wear to a small section of tape). This is a quality sword and may be a civilian Katana fitted out for military duty. A collector's lot. Viewing strongly recommended.
Knife: A scarce WW2 fighting knife by Cogswell & Harrison the London Gunsmiths (see R. Flook The F.S knife page 181) Blade 5.5" S shaped crossguard, stiletto blade ricasso etched 'Cogswell & Harrison Ltd. 168 Piccadilly' & 'London England'. Plain wood grip. In its original shaped leather scabbard (retaining loop with leather split). The whole in excellent condition. A collectors lot.
Knives: Indian typed knife 'KARD' but with trade mark of 'J.F. S****D VENEDIS - ***URG'. Decent quality in its ornate brass mounted scabbard and brass hilt. Deers foot paper knife with horn blade engraved 'Present from a friend'. Pruning clasp knife by 'ED MUSTROE'. Chunky Stag handle sheath knife in sheath. (4) a/f
Sword: 1897 Pattern, Edward VII NCOs sword. Blade 33" short fullers, ricasso stamped JK Pearce & Co. Floral Street, Covent Gardens W.C. Blade with minor areas of medium pitting. Wirebound wooden grip. In its black leather field service scabbard (not associated but a good fit). Label states sword from the Somme area. Overall good condition.
