One-quillon, brass hilt with langets, pommel shaped as a lion's head. Wooden grip with remains of the original leather cover. Without scabbard. Scarce. length 96 cm.

dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Duchy of Parma, Straight, single-and false-edged blade, with fuller at the first part and engraved with floral motif, then of lenticular section. Typical gilt brass handle with monogram 'CC' under crown on the shell-guard, crowns on the pommel and fleurs-de-lis on the quillon and loop-guard. Mother-of-pearl grips. Complete with scabbard. According to a note by the owner, the sword belonged to the physician Captain Dr. Giuseppe Hotz who performed the autopsy of Charles III. length 93 cm.

Iron hilt, shell-guard with two-headed eagle under crown, sword and shield with five birds. Disk pommel with narrowing base, decorated with floral motifs in bas-relief like the whole hilt. Checkered wooden grip, in front a shield with five birds under crown, behind a shield with monogram 'I' or 'T'. Wooden scabbard covered with reptile skin and engraved silver mounts, the hook in the shape of a bird. All parts in silver with marks '1807', 'CA' and another scarcely legible one. Scarce. length 92 cm.

dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Japan, Shinogi zukuri blade (nagasa 51.6 cm, medium conditions) with remains of a carved, dragon-shaped decoration. Gilt-copper habaki. Brown-lacquered, bamboo Tsuka, with brass ring-nut. Bamboo, stick-shaped scabbard with lacquered finishing. The blade assembled in antique era and probably never disassembled: the removal of it would probably damage the lacquer, so we preferred to leave it in in its original state. Total length (closed): 88.5 cm. Interesting and unusual sword-stick mount. The owner stated that the Wakizashi has belonged to his family since the end of the 19th century. length 75,7 cm.

dating: 19th Century provenance: Indopersia, A khula-khud with hemispheric cap, cusp of rhomboid section on a knot and a base shaped as a truncated cone at the top, sliding nosepiece (missing screw), two lateral plume-holders, the surface richly engraved, carved, pierced and partially decorated with floral motifs, Arabic incriptions on the main cartouches, the space below the pierced segments is covered with red enamel (?), cartouches featuring Arabic inscriptions on the border, complete of a mail neck-defence formed by small rings with simple closure. A red cloth scabbard inside. With its round shield, convex at the center, with four gold-inlaid studs scalloped at the base, brass reinforced border; the entire surface is decorated en suite with the khula-khud, the inscriptions of the central cartouche are gilded on the borders. A brown cloth scabbard inside (small damages) and four rings for the missing handles. Very scarce ensemble. height circa 60 cm.

dating: 1729 - 1731 provenance: Saxony - Poland, Wide, straight, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller at the center, the base with royal monogram 'AR' under crown (King Augustus II. 1697 - 1733) on both sides, the back with fuller. The handle is made of brass in two welded parts, cross-shaped quillon with monogram 'AR' under crown in bas-relief on granulated background (also on both sides). Fishbone, karabela-type handle. Leather-covered wooden scabbard (small missing parts) with three mounts worked en suite with the handle (one smooth segment alternating with a granulated one). In 1729, Colonel Christoph von Unruh formed - on the orders of King Augustus II of Poland, as Elector of Saxony Augustus I - the Janissary Corps consisting of four companies with one hundred men each, stationed in Dresden and Warsaw,. dating: Late 15th Century provenance: Germany, Hammered skull in one piece, featuring a large and short comb at the top, with outlined borders and base; engraved with flowers at the base, then ribbed along the long tail; three grooves at the front, on each side; air holes decorated with carved, flower-shaped rivets (one of eight is missing), a row of rivets for the scabbard in the middle. Fringed border, a visible mark of Nuremberg at the tip, on the back. Raisable visor with wide eye-slot, protruding at the center and ribbed, carved and engraved on the sides with waves (en suite with the crest), held by flower-shaped rivets; the lateral border carved with a tip, the lower border en suite with the skull. A button-lock with inner spring on the right side. Provenance: Max Kuppelmayr Collection. A private collection in England. Illustrated in 'Sammlung Kuppelmayr' and described together with the complete armor N° 2, provided with the picture of the stamp. 'Eurpaische Helme', Muller Kunter, pag. 96 picture 66/67. 'Waffen und Rustungen', P. Martin, pag. 188, nr. 154. A similar sample, kept in the Bayerischen Nationalmuseum (see Martin) also shows flower-shaped rivets. Max Kuppelmayr, the manufacturer, started to produce his wonderful collection around 1845 and, at the time of his death in 1888, it was one of the most important collection of European antique arms in the world. His son, Rudolph Kuppelmayr, decided to catalogue the collection in an outstanding volume which was presented to the public in January 1895. The 24th of June 1919 the collection was sold at auction by the Hugo Helbing Gallery in Munich. dimensions 40.4 x 21 x 21.7 cm.

Falling block bolt. Marking 'EM & L NAGANT A LIEGE' and with mark. The dorsal tang with marking in Greek and wording of the Milena model. In front of the trigger guard, the bolt opening knob. Working mechanics. Smooth, wooden butt and fore-end, the butt side with Greek stamp and date '1873', on the bottom crowned 'R'. Marked iron mounts. With bayonet (matching? the joint doesn't seem to fit very well) with metal scabbard. Attached are historical notes collected by the owner, on this rare rifle adopted by the Greek army. length 101 cm.

dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Papal States, Round, rifled, 12, 7 mm cal barrel at the nozzle (clean bore, visible groove), with foresight, clutch for the bayonet, foldaway and adjustable rear sight, with markings 'EM & L NAGANT' at the base, pontifical mark, various other marks and marks of the Liège test bench. Frame with rolling block bolt with Nagant markings, marks and serial numbers coeval with the barrel. Working mechanics. Wooden butt and fore-end, clearly visible on the right side of the butt side the stamp 'CATHOLIQUES BELGES' with date '1868'. Iron mounts and ramrod. Some pitting on the outside. Bayonet (length 70 cm.) marked with 'S' crowned like the clutch and 'A' inside a circle, different serial number from the rifle and complete with scabbard. Attached are historical notes collected by the owner and information on the marks stamped on the rifle. length 131,5 cm.
