A 19th century child's size officer's basket hilted sabre with wire work grip and metal scabbard, overall length 66cm.Additional InformationThe scabbard has surface pitting and dulling throughout, the blade is straight but does have areas of minor surface pitting, the plated basket hilt has areas of wear showing the base metal beneath, the leather is hard on the grip but the wire work appears ok.

A German Third Reich Luftwaffe dagger, the 25cm blade marked for Puma Solingen, with scabbard, together with a bayonet with leather scabbard (2).Additional InformationThe dagger blade has a covering of grease throughout and general light wear, the pommel and grip are slightly loose, general tarnishing to the metal throughout, there is a small chip to the grip where it meets the pommel terminal, scabbard with general age wear discolouration throughout, the bayonet blade is also oiled and grubby in parts, the hilt of the bayonet is generally dulled throughout, with some slight knocks at the edge, the bayonet with general light scratches and wear, the leather with general creases and surface wear.

A WWII Japanese Samurai/Katana sword, with bronze tsuba with floral detail and shagreen leather grip, length 93cm, with bronzed metal scabbard.Additional InformationRusting, pitting and wear to the blade. The scabbard with large areas of loss, dents and knocks. blade cutting length is 66cm. It is not possible to remove hilt to see if it is signed. The press button on the handle does work however, the scabbard does not fit fully to close over the press button. This could be because of the dents to the end of the scabbard.

A Japanese 1930s/WWII period army officer's shin-gunto, the curved blade to brass habaki and pierced sakura motif tsuba of aoi shape, the tsuka of brown tape over white same with three sakura to each side, the kabuto-gane also featuring sakura with saru-te suspending brown cord and tassel, length 90cm, with possibly associated brown leather single-ring scabbard.Additional InformationWear, surface oxidisation, marks and blemishes to blade; tsuba of loose fitting; rubbing to gilt and further general wear; scabbard possibly associated as stated, a loose fit, of some age with wear. The cutting edge is 62.5cm long. The scabbard is leather covered metal. Blade is about 2.8cm wide. We cannot remove the handle to see if the tang is signed.

A 19th century Continental military sword or private purchase officers sword, steel grip with integral release catch and knurled grip and blade, with metal scabbard, length 92cm.Additional InformationHeavy rusting to the scabbard, grip guard and blade, numerous knocks. Blade length is 77cm to where it meets the hilt. The scabbard is numbered 118523 there is a number on the side of the blade, however it is very hard to read and only three numbers are partly visible, it is possible that the serial number does not match that to the scabbard. There are no dents or bends to the scabbard, or to the blade, however, the scabbard is heavily rusted and tarnished throughout and the blade is somewhat grubby with residue of dirt and scratches etc. The press stud function works ok. The blade length is 77cm, the cutting edge length is 76cm. The tip of the blade with many scratches and possibly some heavier wear. The blade also with some tarnishing spots.
