With original blade length of 16 ¾" - many were shortened to 12" for service in WWII. Hyderabadi Arabic numerals "06601" on face of pommel. Soft leather scabbard with metal fitting (marked RE) with almond-shaped stud. Very Fine.

Great Britain. 1822 Pattern Light Cavalry Officer's Sword. By Dolan & Co., St. Martin's Lane, London. Gothic hilt guard, wire-wrapped fishskin grip, crosshatched, stepped button pommel. Single fullered, 32 1/8" blade with etched ornate pattern and crowned monogram of Victoria Regina; maker's name and brass proof mark at ricasso. Blackened metal scabbard with two ring mounts. Light scuffs and rust to scabbard. Otherwise a Very Fine sword.
Great Britain. 1913 Pattern Bayonet. American manufacture, by Remington, Dec. 1915. Blackened wooden grip with two incised central lines. Maker's mark, date 1913, 12 15; acceptance marks at ricasso. Longer muzzle ring cross guard. Leather scabbard with blackened metal fitting with round stud. Light residue at ricasso. Very Fine.
Great Britain. 1885 Pattern Cavalry Trooper's Sword. By Meyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co., Solingen. Steel bowl guard with Maltese Cross cut out, leather grip. Single fullered, 33 ¼" blade, maker's name and various letters and number marks at ricasso, blackened scabbard with set ring mounts either side. A decent example of this scarce sword.

Nickel-plated steel half-basket hilt with royal monogram of George V, fish-skin wrapped grip, pommel with small ball finial. 32 1/3" single fullered blade with etched crowned and radiant George V monogram, maker's name and PROVED P brass inset at ricasso, brass scabbard with two rings. Some rust on basket, light staining. A Fine sword.
