Post Medieval - From 1915 AD. A pair of bright metal 'short' spike bayonets with cruciform tapered blades fitted with a handgrip hilt slotted for attachment and with spring-loaded retainer bolt; the blade marked 'C F' below the hilt and stamped with a number to the side of the quillon; with tubular metal scabbards; made for use with the Lebel or Mle 1907/15 Mannlicher Berthier rifles. An Elizabeth II Royal Navy officer's dress sword, bearing the 'Squirrel' mark for Carl Eickhorn, the blade with acid etched 'ER', cypher to one side and Fouled anchor to the other, over a gilt brass folding hilt and wire bound fish skin grip and lions head pommel, in a leather and brass mounted scabbard.
