Fine Victorian Civil Service Court sword retailed by Ranken, Calcutta with gilt brass hilt with original bullion dress knot, etched blade decorated with crowned VR, lances and scrolls retaining all original polish in gilt metal mounted leather scabbard with sword belt - very well preserved condition
A M1884/98 III Knife bayonet for use with the 8 mm. Mauser Kar 98k rifle of the Second World War. This bayonet will also mount to most other Mauser bolt-action rifles that were based on the M1898 and is an early example bearing the Swastika to the grip with blade marked 5873 m and E.u.FHörster which was used from 1934-1937, with metal scabbard. The bayonet and scabbard were made by E. & F. Horster & Co. of Solingen and this example has serrated, brown plastic grips. - Est £30 - £50
British 1892 pattern infantry officers sword having etched blade with ricasso marked OWN??? George St / Hanover Square/ London. gothic hilt with VR cartouche complete with scabbard CONDITION REPORT: Blade length 81cm the etched blade is quite worn which makes makers marks unreadable. Backpiece does not sit flush on grip. VR cipher to hilt well rubbed. Four or five dents to the scabbard.

Blade etching is good, some rusting to ricasso, staining to grip, dent to chape.
