dating: 1879 provenance: USA, Rifled, round, 44-40 cal. (or 43 Spanish) barrel, (clean, with barely visible rifling), with Winchester address, King's Improvement and patents, with adjustable rear sight and foresight, small areas of rust. Smooth frame with pitting and rust, tang with pattern, serial number '337xx'. The rear loading gate with small oval checkering. Wooden butt and fore-end, iron ramrod on the left side, only one barrel bracket. Complete with its socket bayonet with leather scabbard (missing chape). Extremely rare. This very rare item was assembled on 19th April 1879 as a possible military weapon for the Spanish government. Only a very few items are known (one in the Rock Island Arsenal Museum), only four more of Musket type are known. Two have been lately sold with serial numbers 33777 and 33903, both very similar to ours.Literature: 'Winchester's New Model of 1873: A tribute, Volume II' by James Gordon, page 511. Gordon writes that only 84 items of this model were manufactured and that only five of them are known. length 124 cm.

Beautiful, gilded-bronze hilt (small abrasions), shell-guard with Medusa's heads in relief between two winged lions and a snake in high relief under floral decorations. Quillon and loop-guard decorated with floral motifs in bas-relief, pommel shaped as a helmet. Checkered horn grip grooved with staves on the corners, central trophy featuring the Savoy's cross at the front. Wooden scabbard covered with leather (small damaged and missing parts) and with gilded bronze mounts engraved with rocaille. Two suspension rings. It probably belonged to a Piedmontese artillery general, as shown by the Savoy's cross on the grip and the Medusa's head on the shell-guard. length 85 cm.

dating: 1802 - 1805 provenance: Italian Republic , Long and solid, curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller for almost its entire length and grooved near the back; with a trophy and a floral motif framing the motto 'VIVA LA REPUBBLICA ITALIANA' at the forte, on the right side, with fasces surmounted by the revolutionary Phrygian cap set among laurels, around floral decorations on the left side. Width at the base: 3.9 cm, blade length: 88 cm. Pitting at the forte. Steel hilt with stirrup guard webbed upwards. Parry quillon curved and lobed at the head. Long, smooth cap with small cusp. Grip with antique leather covering and brass wire binding. Without scabbard. A fascinating officer's sabre with a motto celebrating the 'Italian Republic,' a short-lived revolutionary kingdom (1802-1805) under President Napoleon Bonaparte. When he was proclaimed Emperor and King of Italy, the republic evolved into the Kingdom of Italy. length 101 cm.

Mei: Echigo no Kami Kanesada. Mekugi-ana. Shinto era, 17th century. Silver habaki. In koshirae with Maru-gata iron Tsuba from the Edo period carved, partially pierced and with remains of gilding. Iron Fuchi and Kashira (later?), large antique Menuki well worked and depicting Tora. Later Same and Tsuka-ito. With a more recent scabbard with beautiful red lacquer decorated with white inlays at the top. Complete with numbered NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho Token certificate. length 96,5 cm.

dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Grand Duchy of Tuscany, Smoothbore, round, 17.5 mm cal. barrel with octagonal breech and a heraldic emblem on the back, provided with clutch for the bayonet. Tang with fore-end. Backward spring lock marked 'FATTO A PISTOJA'. Working mechanism. Wooden full stock with a few woodworm holes, most of them plugged. Checkered fore-end. Iron mounts and ramrod with some pitting. Muzzle ring with foresight. Together with a socket bayonet (pertinent?) complete with leather scabbard featuring brass mounts. Trigger guard and muzzle ring with the engraved letters 'A.A.'. Based on the French 1842 model. Probably for a Tuscan volunteer, 1848 Revolutions period. length 141 cm.

dating: Late 18th - Early 19th Century provenance: France, Almost straight, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller on almost its entire length and with thin groove near the back on the central segment, with the motto 'LA NATION LIBRE' on the right side. Brass hilt with pierced guard and wavy decoration at the borders. A second guard is hinged on the first one and is provided with an iron spring screw to lock it. Long, smooth cap. Grip with leather handle (some woodworm holes) and with copper wire binding. Leather scabbard, old and very worn, partially frayed, with iron mounts (in patina, a loose band) with two lugs. length 86,5 cm.

dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: France, Straight, double-edged blade of lozenge section, reinforced tip, thick tang, the latter and part of the blade with remains of trophy engravings and floral motifs. Iron hilt, quillon with straight quillons carved with spheres interspersed with rings, center of crossguard engraved with bands, white metal ring nut. Bone grip and pommel, the first decorated with longitudinal grooves, the pommel depicting the head of a human figure. Complete with scabbard with white metal mounts. length 27 cm.

Wooden, full stock with a few woodworm holes especially to the butt stock, circular block with 'RF' stamp on the left side of the butt stock. Brass mounts, muzzle ring with foresight. Iron ramrod. Remains of stamps on the mounts. With a socket bayonet complete with scabbard. length 113 cm.

dating: Second half of the 19th Century provenance: Austria, Straight blade with fuller on three-quarters of its length, with remains of trophy and racemes engravings at the forte, and with crowned monogram 'FJ1'. Brass hilt with remains of gilding. Austrian imperial emblem within laurel wreath on the shell-guard, guard with snake wrapped in oak branches. Pommel shaped as a lion's head. Pearl grips. Ring nut with the motto 'VIRIBUS UNITIS'. Leather scabbard with signs of use and time, brass mounts with relieved decoration and remains of gilding, cap with button. length 89,5 cm.

Gilt brass hilt, shell-guard with helmeted face between two griffins. Quillon and loop-guard decorated with floral and geometric motifs. Pommel with head with ancient-style helmet and floral motifs. Mother of pearl grip scales. Leather scabbard (defects) with brass mounts. length 92 cm.
