Three Turkish Ersatz bayonets and scabbards to includeThe first of Turkish manufacture with muzzle ring diameter of 15.6mm made for the 1903 or 1935 Mauser,The second of export pattern Ersatz conversion with unfullered-purpose made shortened blade, new cross guard brazed into back set position, thin stamped export pattern cross guard, the scabbard being a former Imperial German S84/98 scabbard with a Turkish throat piece installed.The third for a GEW.88 and GEW.98 rifles, the blade shortened but otherwise unaltered, German crown and William 1st on cross guard, 11 stamped on pommel end.40cm long

Another with all steel scabbard, serial number AG6196 on cross guard factory/inspector stamp on other side, CR (Coltellerie Rivmte) maker mark on the back of the muzzle ring stem.M41 example stamped ROCCA-1941, weak mark makers mark to tang, probably an experimental for the Cei-Rigotti Assault Rifle. 43cm long

Kenya Mau Mau Machete, circa 1952 being a Pamga type of fighting machete made from a Martindale stamped British Machete by the Mau Mau in their uprising against the British in Kenya. Together with a pattern 1888 bayonet (no scabbard) stamped to the left ricasso with date 4 92 for April 1892 as well as inspection mark over 99 and makers name Sanderson Sheffield, the right ricasso stamped with arrow over WD over inspection mark over X for the bend test mark to show it passed proof.53cm long

Three bayonets and scabbards, to include:Spanish M.1893, made at the Toledo arms factory in 1898 for the 1893 Mauser Rifle left ricasso with factory stamp, left crossguard stamped with serial number F1507 no marks to the leather and steel scabbard. German-made export for Portugal, stamped with German markings and probably used by German forces before being withdrawn from service and contracted to Portugal, stamped with an eagle below flash guard and two acceptance marks and serial number C13056 to pommel.Portugese M1885 / M1886 used on both the single shot M1885 Guedes rifle and the M 1886 Kropatschek repeating rifle lacking the frog stud on the scabbard, stamped with serial number C833 to cross guard and E919 to the scabbard.62cm long

LD to the right side for F. Fisher and sons,MkII Singer stamped on the left side with No4 MkII above N67 dispersal code for Singer and N67 on the catch, the right side with broad arrow, another with scabbard stamped FF&S.LD and No 4 MkII* N30 for F. Fisher and sons Sheffield the Amercian made scabbard stamped No4 MKI.Two further by Stevens Arms Co, Chicopee Falls Massachusetts a subsidiary of Savage arms of Utica New York, one stamped on the left No4.MkII and the Stevens logo on the release catch, the scabbard with M in a circle for Mazak and a dispersal code N64 for Sheffield.MkII by J Stevens "Type 1 No4 MkII trademark "S" in 6mm box. 26cm long

Three bayonets and scabbards, to include:Brazilian M.1908 probably made by Czechoslovakia however there are no export marks, serial number 5585 on the rear of the quillion, leather and steel scabbard, the frog lug is stamped F I for Fabrica de Itajuba, the Brazilian state arms factory identifying the scabbard as a Brazilian-made replacement. Brazilian M.1908 issued with the 1908 Mauser Rifle, all marks removed except the serial number d2028 on the right side of the crossguard, steel scabbard with F1 on frog clip F1 in an oval. Peruvian M.1935 for the FN Mauser Short Rifle was exported to Peru, the bayonet is a combination of a Czech crossguard and blade with a FN pommel, no marks on the bayonet blade except for serial number 0931 on pommel. 54cm long

Three Czech Vz58 bayonets and scabbards.The first with long tang, pointed crossguard and two rivets grip, serial number 04S20, the scabbard is a NBC Nuclear Biological Chemical warfare version dated to 1977.The second being the earliest type with white wood grips and short tang and two rivets, and round crossguard produced between 1958-59 in later scabbard.The third with short tang, woodchip grips, two rivets, and pointed crosspiece stamped with serial number 38C51 and 357, with leather scabbard angled 30 degrees stamped with cross swords for the Czech military as well as KV, S1 3rd mark to week to read, and 1972 .30cm long

Japanese Tachi, 680mm blade with 15mm curvature, thought to be Nanbokucho / early Muromachi period, circa 1400, of Yamato / Yamashiro tradition, possibly by Sairen, the blade polished by John Boulton in 2011. The grip is currently not possible to remove.Condition report: The blade has been repolished however there are recent rust spots around the point mainly on the left side of the blade, but also some spots on the right. The cutting edge does not appear to have any cracks or chips to it however there are some faint lines around the flat section of the blade away from the hammon. These lines look like they could be part of the grain of the metal. Seven extra images have been uploaded to try and illustrate these lines. There appears to be a repair to the Habaki. The Tsuba and the scabbard have signs of heavy rusting and pitting. The Tsuba is very loose and rattles. The sword is missing the hook or loop from the end of the grip.
