GESCH' and 'RADJ' within a triangle on the left hand side, solid iron carved cross-guard and hilt, stag-horn scales and 'eagles-beak' pommel, complete with its original metal scabbard with engraved steel fittings (losses to black painted section), overall length of knife 14 3/4in., weight in scabbard approx. 2 1/4lbs.. A .750 FLINTLOCK SERVICE-MUSKET SIGNED THOMAS, MODEL 'BROWN-BESS TYPE', serial no. 27, WITH BAYONET, third quarter of the 18th century and possibly cut down from a Long or Short Land Pattern, with 39in. round iron barrel, Tower proofs at breech, block fore-sight, moulded band forwards of the solid top-tang, radiused borderline engraved lock signed 'THOMAS' below the pan, swan-necked cock, borderline engraved frizzen, walnut full-stock, brass furniture including oval escutcheon at wrist numbered '27', solid moulded three-screw sideplate, the front two ramrod pipes with trumpet mouths, three iron barrel keys and iron worm-ended iron ramrod from a 42in. model, complete with a period socket bayonet signed 'DAWES' also numbered '27' (no scabbard, distressed).
19th Century Prussian Briquet Short Sword, one piece ribbed brass handle and knuckle guard stamped “1324” and armourer mark. Curved single edge blade stamped “KULL” and skull mark to the reverse. Housed in its brass mounted leather scabbard. Some wear and dents to the brass grip, blade with nicks and patina. Blade 59cms, overall 79 ½ cms.

Greener, Birmingham with Sanderson, Sheffield to the opposing side, having a two piece grip, the steel back strap further marked W.W. Greener, Birmingham, housed in a steel mounted leather sheath with canvas frog, 43cm.Condition report: Please note that although the scabbard appears to be correct the bayonet does not fit all of the way into the scabbard.
A British 1889? pattern Infantry Officer's sword, having an 83cm unmarked fullered blade, the steel Gothic hilt with crowned VR cypher marked to the underside 4.96 1 1898 V L NN 6, having a wirebound fish skin grip, plain backstrap and domed pommel with leather knot, housed in a steel scabbard with matching numbers, 98cm.Condition report: The scabbard has a large dent and split approximately half way down, so the sword will not fit into the scabbard, the sword is in generally good condition, no knicks or dents to the blade, blade is straight, wirebound grip intact.
