A Third Reich period Artillery officer’s sword, plated blade 31½” (plating dull), the brass stirrup hilt with lion’s head pommel, trophy of arms and iron cross on knucklebow, crossed cannon on one langet and vacant shield on the other, the black plastic covered grip retaining some wire binding, in its steel scabbard with traces of black painted finish. Generally GC (the scabbard, which appears not to be the correct one as the blade does not follow the contours and will not fully enter, has been partly cleaned bright)

A rare and interesting shamshir dating: early 19th Century provenance: Persia Fine, yatagan-like, damask blade with "T"-back and thin fuller, featuring two gold-inlaid cartouches with characters in Arabic on one side; at the back remains of gilding, the base of the back with a silver plaque engraved with floral motifs; quillon with arms bent toward the blade, decorated with gold-inlaid racemes; ivory grip scales (probably replaced) with curved pommel provided with a hole, the central band of the grip engraved with net pattern. Leather scabbard sewed with iron thread, mounts engraved with net pattern, complete with two rings. dimensions: length 62,5 cm.
A rare gilt shamshir dating: 19th Century provenance: India Curved, single-edged , damask blade of triangular section, short tang, at the forte a small, gilt cartouche featuring inscriptions in Arabic; one-piece hilt, entirely gilt (very small parts missig), with ribbed langets, quillons shaped as dragon heads, bent toward the blade, the pommel and the end of the guard en suite, all provided with turquoise eyes, grip of octagonal section. Wooden scabbard with yellow velvet covering, stitched with gilt thread; chape gilt en suite with the quillon; gilt band with pierced and festooned borders, provided with a ring. dimensions: length 88 cm.

A rare and important sosun pattah dating: circa 1800 provenance: India Wide, slightly curved blade similar to the ones of khyber knives, with single-edged, damask blade (very clean), with rear groove and "T"-back, on one side of the base a golden cartouche featuring inscriptions in Arabic. Very elegant, iron hilt partially pierced at the ends of the langets, guard with swan heads, wide disc-shaped pommel and grooved grip, all parts finely decorated with floral and geometrical motifs in gold. Wooden scabbard with velvet covering (later), engraved bronze chape with remains of gilding. A fine silver mounted shasqua dating: late 19th Century provenance: Russia Curved, single - and false-edged blade, two fullers on the entire length, one wide and another narrow near the back; fine, gilt silver grip entirely decorated with strongly relieved beads, except the two bands near the blade, the two ring-nuts of the grip and the frame of the pommel which are smooth and decorated with nielloed, geometrical motifs, same decoration on one stud and a shield-shaped plaque. Wooden scabbard with black leather covering (small defects) with silver mounts decorated with bas-relieved floral motifs at the front, partially gilt and nielloed (small parts missing), smooth and nielloed at the back. The cap decorated with a beaded frame, a nielloed inscription at the back, a band provided with two long, winged plaques worked en suite with the other mounts, chape with a small drag. Scabbard also provided with a leather belt with gilt and nielloed silver mounts.Elegant shasqua, on the grip the silver stamp "84" and an unclear symbol, probably depicting two crossed anchors (Saint Petersburg?). dimensions: length 94,7 cm.

A gilt and nielloed silver mounted kindjal dating: circa 1900 provenance: Caucasia Straight, double-edged blade, ribbed at the centre, with elongated tip, the forte engraved with a small signature in Arabic characters and the date 1318 (year 1900 in the Gregorian calendar); silver grip decorated on the borders and the front surface with bas-relieved floral motifs, gilt and enclosed in nielloed frames, with filigree beaded rings and two studs with long, petal-shaped head, smooth at the back, with nielloed racemes. Silver scabbard, the front surface decorated en suite with the grip, with nielloed flowers, provided with a loop and chape with sphere and beaded decorations. The back with nielloed racemes and star with crescent. dimensions: length 46,3 cm.
