18th Century long cased clock, arched cornice, brass and silvered dial Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture, rocking ship to arch, eight day movement striking on a bell, mahogany case with cross banding. 227cm high Provenance: This clock was made for the East India Company and once owned by William Braddon of Skisdon Lodge, St. Kew, Cornwall. Mr. Braddon was a Judge in the Honourable East India Company during the 1830’s. He acquired the clock on his retirement and brought it back to Britain, it has been in the family ever since.

A late 19c French garniture de cheminee in ormolu decorated with blue champlevee enamel. The clock element takes the form of a blue enamel urn supported by two cherubs on a rectangular plinth supported by four gilt feet. The urn has side handles and knop finial and is decorated in ormolu ribbons and garlands. The 3.5""diam gilt dial has an enamel centre and the circular movement has a silvered lever platform escapement and is rack striking on a bell. The side elements take the form of enamel pot pourri urns and covers and are supported by putti standing on circular bases with four gilt feet, the clock stands 17"" tall and the side urns 12"" tall.
A late 19c French garniture de cheminee in black polished slate and bronze. The clock element consists of a rectangular slate base containing the clock, with bronze paw feet and foliage side handles, surmounted by a good figural bronze of Thetis by Emile Hebert. She is depicted resting on an anvil with her sword and shield by her whilst she applies her leg armour. The 4""diam dial is bronze with gilt applied numerals and the movement rack strikes on a bell. The side elements have similar black slate bases supporting bronze Greek classical urns with applied masks forming the handles, the clock element stands 24"" high overall and the urns 15"" high.
A late 19c French boullework bracket clock in waisted case decorated with ormolu mounts and surmounted by a vase of fruit and flowers, the 4""diam gilded dial has inset enamel numeral plaques with blue Roman numerals, below the dial is a glazed aperture decorated with an ormolu mask through which the sunburst pendulum can be viewed. The circular movement is rack striking on a bell, 13.5"" tall overall.
A late 19c French mantel clock in tortoiseshell case with ormolu mounts. The case is rectangular with glazed side windows and a central rectangular dome top surmounted by a gilt carrying handle. The case corners are surmounted by ormolu finials and the base has a cast gilt outstand around it with gilt feet. The 4.5""diam white enamel convex dial bears the name `Planchon, A Paris` and has Roman numerals with Arabic outer minute numerals and fancy gilt hands. The movement bears the same name and is countwheel striking on a bell, the clock stands 13"" tall.
An unusual mantel clock with arched brass dial signed T Agius Melitae (Malta) fixed to a posted iron frame with brassed sheet side and rear covers, sitting on a wooden base with arcaded carving to the sides. The dial has a five sided arch and it is engraved all over with foliage, animals and birds and baskets of fruit and has an applied engraved chapter ring engraved with the above name. The case now contains a 19c British double fusee bracket clock movement rack striking on a bell, 13"" tall overall.
A mid 19c Black Forest wall clock with 9""diam white painted wooden dial, cast brass bezel and mahogany surround. The wooden frame movement has going, strike and alarm trains and has wooden arbors to the wheelwork. It has a long pendulum and two brass weights (alarm weight and striking bell missing), dial and surround 12.5"" diameter overall.
A mid 18c eight day longcase clock, the 12"" arched brass dial signed David Rivers, London and having a matted dial centre, scroll spandrels, date and seconds rings and a strike/silent in the arch (disconnected). The five pillar movement has rack strike and anchor escapement and the original bell strike has been converted to a gong in the back of the case. It is contained in a black lacquered case with chinoiserie decoration, the arched hood is surmounted by a pagoda top and has attached columns flanking the dial. The long arched trunk door has chinoiserie decoration of pagodas and trees and at the base a horseman. The base panel shows two lions and the base has a double plinth, 91"" tall overall.

CUP FINAL 1969-MAN CITY Small collection of items relating to the 69 FA Cup Final. Comprises programme, ticket, admission ticket to the Royal Box 26/4/69, and official invitation from Manchester City to the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Manchester to the Manchester City Celebration Dinner at the Cafe Royal after the match. A George III hallmarked silver gilt baby's rattle with two rows of bells and coral teether, London 1811, length 15.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: One of the bell drops is missing, there are dents to several of the others, however, overall in a good condition, makers mark MC, retains gilding and has no signs of repair or restoration.
An early 20th century French silver and lilac guilloche enamelled bell push of dome form with bead decoration, hallmarked for Henri Lambin (1909-1936), diameter 5.75cm (enamel af). CONDITION REPORT: There is a 12mm x 5mm loss of enamelling to the side of the bell and the metalwork itself is quite tarnished.
A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN JAR, of bell or mallet form, painted with chidren at play, double ring mark to base. 16.5cm Provenance: from the Rev. Jonathan Lees of the London Missionary Society who served in Tientsin between c. 1862 and 1900 or his son Edward Lees who died in Tienstin in 1915 and thence by descent.
