Mervyn himself founded Emerald Music in 1964 and was the first person to record Rory Gallagher and Van Morrison. The present collection demonstrates a support for Northern visual artists: Frank McKelvey, Daniel O`Neill, Colin Middleton, Tom Carr, Cecil Maguire, Martin Mooney, Markey Robinson and a clear interest in Irish artists working abroad, in Roderic O`Conor and Aloysius O`Kelly.
