THE ROLLING STONES - BELL SOUND STUDIOS ACETATE LPs (FOR ABKCO RECORDS). Phenomenal to see set of 2 x double-sided LP acetates from The Rolling Stones - these Bell Sound Studios recordings were originally prepared for ABKCO (Allen Klein) with then unreleased tracks, some of which would appear later on the 1975 compilation Metamorphosis. Record one is in well presented Ex condition with a few light surface marks to the playing surfaces and showing only slight wear to the aluminium lacquer. Record two is in neat VG+ condition with a few light surface marks, these not heavier in nature and again there is very little wear to the aluminium lacquer. With printed labels (stating 'ROLLING STONES TRIDENT MIXES) giving timings of the tracks. With various newspaper articles relating to the Stones' relationship with Allen Klein. A superb slice of Free Jazz by the master Pharaoh Sanders and his quintet; Pharaoh (ESP 1003, 1965 US mono pressing on ESP Disk. 19th century French Louis XIV revival bracket clock in boulle work case on matching bracket. The ornate red tortoishell and ormolu case with trumpeting angel mount, ornate dial with enamel numeral plaques, French movement striking on bell and with sunburst pendulum and two keys. The clock 74 cm high, 35 cm wide. The bracket 40cm wide, 27cm high (2) Provenance: Property of a Lady, removed from a Hertfordshire Country EstateCondition report - Overall condition very good. Movement is clean but we are unable to confirm if it is in full working order. Case is good, some wear to gilding. Some brass inlay is lifting. Dial is dirty and brass is worn in places. Numerals generally good, some minor chipping, figure 60 is damaged, rear door does not close properly. Bracket also in good condition, some brass inlay is lifting. Velvet now glued to top surface. Keys, pendulum and bell all present.
