A Bugatti Type 57/57s gearbox with component parts,originally fitted to a Bugatti 57C with a Ventoux body supplied to Poilet on 23/12/1938. Used but believed complete:-comprising main gear box casing with bell housing (with damage and loss to lower rim), fitted with internal bearing and two external inspection plates (one is cast 'Bugatti'); gear lever housing plate with gear lever and turned spherical knob; with complete drive train comprising gears, dogs, shafts, bearings, drives and associated castings, brackets, nuts, bolts and other fittings, all used. Robert Otley - An antique 18th Century Georgian English oak and mahogany 30 hour longcase clock / Grandfather clock having a hand painted face with floral sprays and makers mark for Robert Otley. Roman numeral chapter ring with faceted hands. The movement being chain driven and striking on a bell. Glazed door to the hood with brass eagle pediment and blind fretwork decoration. Single door to the trunk with all being raised on canted plinth base. Measures approx 225cm x 57cm x 27cm.

The impressive 11inch dial in polished brass with Roman Numeral chapter ring, subsidiary minutes dial and faceted hands Striking on a bell complete with both weights and pendulum.
