‘Gwen Villa’ Lines Bros Ltd painted wooden dolls house similar to ‘The clock House’ model: 34, with contents, English 1909-10, with painted white exterior and brown exposed beams, on a brown wooden base with painted front door and working bell, flanked by two glazed windows, large portico with two columns and balcony above, having a further two large windows with paper blinds, French doors and attic opening, tiled pitch roof with two chimneys, front opens in two wings to four rooms on two levels. Top right Bedroom includes: wooden bed, built in marble effect fireplace, wardrobe with mirror, table and chairs. Top left Bedroom: Lines Bros bed room suite including bed, wardrobe, dressing table, two chairs and towel rail. Kitchen: built in stove, wooden dresser, table and cupboard, pots, pans, jars and utensils. Dining room: dresser, clock, built in marble effect fireplace, chairs, gilt mantle clock, and eight dolls (a.f), with a selection of pictures and ornaments, (condition: one roof tile damaged, old signs of woodworm in places), 33 ½” (85cm) tall, 29” (74cm) wide, 17 1/4” (44cm) deep.
