A good untouched brass barrelled flintlock blunderbuss with spring bayonet, by Ketland & Co, c 1775, 311/2" overall, 3 stage barrel 151/2" with bell mouth muzzle and octagonal breech, with maker's mark of Thomas Ketland, with ramrod pipes and steel ramrod on left and 81/2" spring bayonet below released by thumb catch on front trigger guard finial; flat stepped lock with large flat swan neck cock, the plate engraved "Ketland & Co" in script; walnut halfstock with carved apron around barrel tang; brass mounts including flat engraved sideplate. Good Working Order and untouched condition (dark patina to metalwork, lock, bayonet and ramrod slightly pitted overall)

A GEORGE III MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK, the white painted dial signed Monks, Prescot with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture with moon phase arch above, the eight-day movement striking on a bell. The arched hood with fluted pillars and applied half pillars, the case with tall shaped door flanked by quarter recessed columns, on a conforming foot, 83" high.
