A 1950s Phoenix bicycle, used by the character Marina, from 1984 to the mid 1990s, during the filming of Last of the Summer Wine. The bicycle is signed by a large number of the staff and the crew of the show, to include: Peter Sallis (Cleggy), Brian Wilde (Foggy), Bill Owen (Compo), Ron Moody (Willoughby), Gordon Wharmby (Wesley), Robert Fyfe (Howard), Mike Grady (Barry), Jean Fergusson (Marina) and Alan J W Bell (Producer and Director for approximately 30 years). Also included in this lot are labels tied onto the handle bars signed by: Dame Thora Hird (Edie), Kathy Staff (Nora Batty), Jane Freeman (Ivy) and Juliette Kaplan (Pearl). Provenance: previously the property of Jean Fergusson, the actress who played Marina in Last of the Summer Wine. This lot comes with full written provenance from Miss Fergusson, and with some photographs taken during filming showing the bicycle etc.

A 19th century Sevres type porcelain inset ormolu cased mantel clock The painted dial with Roman numerals and signed Russell, Malvern, the case surmounted with an ormolu mounted porcelain urn finial and inset with further porcelain panels with floral decoration, standing on pointed bun feet, the bell striking barrel movement unsigned. 45.5 cms high overall. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, some slight rubbing to gilding, some slight rubbing to porcelain panels and gilding.
