NB: Vanessa Bell was born Vanessa Stephen in London on 30th May 1879, daughter of literary critic Sir Lesley Stephen and the older sister of writer Virginia Woolf. Vanessa married the art critic Clive Bell, and the two formed the Bloomsbury Group.
