An English majolica jardiniere, the bell shaped bowl moulded with medallions of putti framed by hops, glazed in bright colours on a blue ground and on three open strapwork feet, the interior pink beneath the ochre rim, 52cm h, 55cm diam, c1870 One section of the side broken and riveted with only minor loss. A few small chips and knocks around the feet but basically complete and without modern 'restoration'

An Austrian secessionist bowl by the Vereinigte Wiener und Gmundner Keramik, the design ascribed to Dagobert Peche, of cream glazed earthenware, the shallow reticulated bowl on a bell shaped foot, 24cm diam, impressed marks and C109, early 20th c Minor crack in one part of the pierced work. The glaze with typical light crazing where beginning to pool. No professional 'restoration'.

(163cm.) & 5ft. 1in. (155cm.) Probably Coalbrookdale.
