An interesting cased pair of percussion pistols by Hopfe from noble property dating: mid-19th Century provenance: Belgium Octagonal, rifled, 15 mm cal. barrels, featuring the signature "B. HOPFE" and "A MALMEDY" in silver, the base engraved with floral motifs and silver frames, slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, with foresight; tangs engraved with monogram "M" in a silver frame; backward spring locks finely engraved with floral motifs; wooden stocks, the muzzle carved with shell, the back with a knightly emblem featuring a sleeping hound on a shield with granulated ground, surmounted by a helmet, surrounded by floral motifs; silver mounts; butt-plate with lion heads, counter-plates with hound and wolf; triggers with set triggers. In a not pertinent, wooden case covered with leather and lined with green cloth, with brass mounts; complete with all tools except from a small one. With key. dimensions: length 33.5 cm.

A rare basket-hilted broad sword dating: circa 1700 provenance: Scotland Straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section, a fuller on half of the length (some pitting), slightly narrowed at the base. Iron cage-hilt of typical shape, with various guard loops, featuring rectangular elements at the centre, pierced with hearts and leaves. Flat parry quillon, palmate and curled at the edge. Fuse-shaped grip, with iron wire binding and moor's heads at the edges. Bell-shaped iron pommel. dimensions: length 101,5 cm.

An elegant wheel-lock tschinke dating: third quarter of the 17th Century provenance: Baltic Octagonal, rifled, 10 mm cal. barrel, with slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, iron rear-sight and brass foresight, featuring remains of floral engravings on both edges. Elegant lock with external wheel held by a curved bar strengthened externally by a brass plaque engraved with spirals; plate engraved with racemes and frames, more engravings on the fore plaques of the hammer, the springs chiselled with small spirals and dashes; the rear spring partially covered by a brass plaque engraved en suite; pan cover with releasing button. Slim, wooden full stock (two small restorations near the tang and another in the lower part); the area under the barrel decorated with brass plaques engraved with spirals and racemes alternated with mother of pearl inlays of various shapes (hearts, lozenges, circles, etc.). Butt with cheek-piece featuring a mother of pearl disc engraved with racemes and mask, on the other side too are engraved plaques of mother of pearl; wooden patchbox, externally covered with brass decorated en suite with the lock; butt bordered with brass, engraved with spirals ans racemes. Iron trigger guard, wooden ramrod. dimensions: length 116,5 cm.

A beautiful wheel-lock tschinke with powder-flask dating: mid-17th Century provenance: Teschen Octagonal, rifled, 8 mm cal. barrel, with slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, engraved with floral motifs at the edges and the centre, provided with fore -and rear-sight; typical, angled lock engraved en suite with the barrel, the hammer engraved with bird and floral motifs, with snap pan cover. Elegant and thin, wooden full stock enriched with bone and mother of pearl inlays, decorated with the effigy of an angel with trumpet, wild animals and mythical animals, everything surrounded by floral decorations, ornamental bands and hops. Iron patchbox and anatonic trigger guard. Wooden ramrod wth iron cartridge extractor. Together with its powder-flak of fruit wood of octagonal section, with round base, enriched with bone and mother of pearl inlays, decorated with the effigy of wild animals and mythical animals, everything surrounded by floral decorations, ornamental bands and hops. The fuse on a small, lateral, bone plaque engraved with hound, the stopper of dark horn, iron suspension ring. On the side a small, leather cartridge case. dimensions: length 113.5 cm.

Supported on gilt metal mounted barley twist columns with an inlaid panelled base and gilt metal rococo and lyre type pendulum. Brass drum movement striking on a bell marked Japy Freres 1844-1849.

A rare c.1840 satinwood library clock, the silvered dial set with Roman numerals inscribed "J.Whaley, Mount Street, Lambeth", with eight day five pillar twin fusee movement, striking and repeating the hours on a silvered bell, with bevelled glass top and sides and raised on squat bun feet, height 33.5cm, width 24cm. Sold with key to front and rear door, with pendulum. CONDITION REPORT: The clock is presented in very good condition. There has in past been some sympathetic restoration to the case, the movement has been cleaned and restored. There are a few tiny flecks of repair to the veneer on the reverse of the clock but overall in good condition. Sold with key to the front and rear door and pendulum.

- The ex-Spectre Supersport demonstrator and last of 23 examples built - Three former keepers and 22,000 miles from new, MOT'd till Nov 2016 - Quoted 175mph top speed, 4.6 litre V8 (350bhp/335lbft) and 5-speed transaxle A very decent junior supercar, then? Indeed, but also one that fulfilled its creators' self-imposed brief, to be a supercar that was easy for a novice to drive, docile around town and, as Spectre's brochures suggested, 'a super sportscar that is no more expensive to maintain than a family saloon'. - Alastair Clements, Classic & Sportscar (May 2009) Conceived by Ray Christopher of GT Developments as a roadgoing GT40 for the 1990s, the R42 was based around a Group C-style honeycomb-reinforced folded aluminium sheet monocoque equipped with all-round independent suspension, four-wheel vented disc brakes and power assisted rack and pinion steering. Originally developed for Ford and Audi respectively, its 4603cc all-alloy 350bhp/335lbft V8 engine was allied to a five-speed Getrag transaxle. The GRP-bodied design was put into production by Anders Hildebrand of Spectre Supersport Ltd who got Stockholm University to hone its 0.28 drag coefficient and multiple Le Mans-winner Derek Bell to come on board as chairman and development consultant before securing the mid-engined, 175mph two-seater a starring role in the 1997 film RPM alongside David Arquette, Famke Janssen and Jerry Hall. Priced at a loss making £74,950 due to the 2,000 hours that each one took to complete, R42 production was strictly limited. A former Spectre Supersport Ltd demonstrator and the last of just 23 examples made, 'S759 KLJ' is further notable for being the very machine that Classic & Sportscar profiled. Having used the R42 to break the ice with petrolhead clients, the vendor describes it as 'a quick, well-appointed car with no known faults that is a joy to drive and easy to own'. Maintained during his tenure by ZUL Racing of Derby, recent work has seen the Spectre treated to a new battery, rear tyres, air-con pump overhaul and replacement fuel tank. A real rarity that has covered just 22,000 miles from new, 'S759 KLJ' is offered for sale with its Spectre company mileage logbook, CD stereo, sat-nav, manual and fresh MOT certificate.

- Supplied new and converted to RHD by Bell & Colvill Ltd - Original book pack and invoices - Factory alloys, Mohair hood and wind deflector In 1967, the original Spider (Duetto) was replaced by the 1750 (1779cc) Spider Veloce. The Series 2 Spider arrived in 1970 - the rounded tail now replaced with a distinctive `Kamm' design and a year later engine capacity was increased to 1962cc, prompting the name to be changed to 2000 Spider Veloce. With 131bhp on tap, this version was capable of over 120mph. The Series 3 broke cover in 1982 with electronic fuel injection replacing the SPICA mechanical variety. 1983 heralded a major styling revamp that included rubber tipped bumpers and a rubber rear spoiler whilst the interior featured a new centre console and revised facia. Dating from the final year of S3 production, this smart example was supplied new and converted to RHD by Bell & Colvill Ltd of West Horsley. Described as having "very good" bodywork, black paintwork, engine and black interior the car features a mohair soft top, wind deflector and factory alloys. Registering some 128,000km it is offered with its original book pack, Swansea V5, Northern Irish MoT to September 2016 and a number of invoices. An appreciating and stylish classic.
