A LATE VICORIAN SILVER GILT, AMBER AND GEM SET CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH TRAVEL CASE IN CLARET MOROCCO, the rectangular clock with hinged angular handle on an amber panel, with two amber panels to each side, a further amber panel to the front, the corners of which are set with three sapphires and rubies in a yellow metal mount, the gilt dial has Roman numerals, keyless wind movement, engraved backplate, underside of case hallmarked James Samuel Bell & Louis Willmott, London 1895, height handle up 11cm, gross weight 448.4 grams (Condition Report: the travel case has a split across the hinged lid and the carry strap is missing, the movement is not in working order and is very dusty as one of the side panels of amber is loose, the gilding is worn in a number of places, especially corners , edges and handle, the amber panel that is loose weighs 6.67 grams and has a number of chips, the amber panel in the top has gaps to the back edge and chips are visible to the underside when viewed from inside the case, there is a shallow chip to the front right corner)

Jean Gosselin a Paris, an 18th century French open face alarm pocket watch. In a foliate-pierced two-piece hinged case, 59.5mm diameter, Bulls eye glass, fusee movement with a latice-pierced bridge cock, silver 'Avance Retard' round regulation dial, square tapering 'Egyptian' pillars and engraved with the makers name, the dial with a central engraved-brass(?) rotating alarm disc with pointer, within a white enamel chapter with black Roman numerals. Condition Report: We do not guarantee any watch for accuracy, We haven't applied any power and so at this stage we would have to say not funtioning, however the movement doesn't appear on first inspection to have any obvious problems to the naked and uninformed eye. Case in overall good condition for its age, general wear and tear, hinge good, bell present.
