dating: 19th Century provenance: Afghanistan, Octagonal, smooth-bore barrel, with slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, with fore-sight and cusped sight, with a hole at the base; the surface adorned with engraved cartouches, portraying stylized animals and rinceaux. Big flintlock with a mark on the type of the East India Company, not clearly readable signature and date '1806'. Wooden, full stock, richly decorated with brass mounts, chiselled and pierced with geometrical motifs. Trigger with no trigger-guard, mechanics in working order. Iron ramrod. length 113 cm.

Barrel's tang inlaid in gold en suite. Flintlock with flat, recessed plate, marked 'D. EGG', on a gilded trophy, recessed tang and with remains of trophies. The cock with Oriental engravings. Wooden, full stock. Silver mounts. Butt side almost completely covered with silver plaques, pierced and engraved with rinceaux. Silver butt-plate, with stamp 'SN' and engraved with rinceaux. Silver trigger-guard, decorated and stamped en suite, so as the barrel bracket. The counter-plate carved as butt's plaques. Three stars and silver escutcheon on the back. Wooden ramrod. length 63 cm.

dating: 19th Century provenance: Ottoman Empire, Heavy, iron, two-stage barrel; first half is octagonal, the second is round, with rings at the girdle and circular, strongly bell-mouthed nozzle. Flintlock, all engraved with rinceaux (in working order). Wooden, full stock (one segment is missing in front of the lock and a small part at the butt), decorated with chiselled rinceaux on dotted background, resuming the decorations of the fire striker. Butt side of palmed shape with wooden butt-plate, decorated with circles in Ottoman style. Brass mounts of Occidental style. Wooden ramrod. Maybe an european gun adapted to the Ottoman - North African taste. length 75,5 cm.

dating: 17th Century provenance: Teschen, Octagonal, smooth-bore, 11 mm cal. barrel, slightly bell-mouthed at the nozzle, engraved at the base and tang with rinceaux, an engraved segment in the center, following the same motif, and another similar decoration at the nozzle, with small fore-sight. Wheel-lock with flat, iron plate, all engraved with rinceaux. Similar engravings also on the covering band of the wheel, on the tang's plaque and cock's base. Thin, wooden stock, richly inlays. All the front part with bone plaques to effigy animals and grotesques among the thin spirals, these elements alternated with mother-of-pearl disks. Some repair at the end. Bottom pat with an angel intent on playing the lute, a big lion and a predator, all among spirals and mother-of-pearl plaques. The left side with another musician and a fine effigy of a knight, further to another character and some animals. The back of the butt decorated en suite (two small repairs). Iron trigger-guard, iron sphere at the butt-plate, which is in a single bone plaque. Small patchbox with cover carved en suite. Bone-tipped wooden ramrod. length 112,5 cm.

Brass-bordered vent. Lock with flat plate, chiseled with a knight in armour, another person on the tang and one on the cock's base. The initials 'F.C.F.' inside the external spring's curve. Wooden, full stock with remains of carvings around the barrel's tang and behind the cheek-piece. Patchbox with wooden, chiselled cover, two, iron tools inside. Brass mounts decorated in bass-relief, the trigger-guard with floral decorations, the back of the butt-plate with a mask and a lion. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod and ring-nut for iron cartridge extractor (kept inside the patchbox). Trigger and set-trigger in working order. length 82,7 cm.

(51.5cm.) high; the two three branch garniture candelabra with similar classical figures, one onyx base a/f. (3)* Condition: Onyx bases – main clock abse and one candelabra base have some damage. The clock base has a small chip and repaired cracks to back left corner, repaired cracks to front left corner and a long crack with some chipping along its length to RH side. One of the candelabra bases has a large chip from one corner and that half of the base section is broken into several pieces and is coming away from the upper section (it is held in place only by the baize).Spelter: The tip of one branch beside the clock figure has been off and has an old glued repair, which is giving way. There is a paint blister to the back of one of the candelabra figures’ neck. Otherwise the figures are good.Clock: Lacks pendulum and key so cannot test to see if working. Dial VG.

A 19th century mahogany longcase clock with glancing eyes. The double swan neck pediment with brass rosettes tops the canopy with fluted columns mounted with brass Corinthian capitals. The crossbanded door of the hood frames a brass face with brass spandrels, Arabic and Roman numeral chapter ring with central engraved foliate design. The dial also has date aperture and subsidiary dial for seconds. In the upper crescent of the dial is a painted face with glancing eyes encirled with the words; "Whilst time away do's flee. My eyes do move you see". The long door of the case is flanked either side by fluted engaged pillasters with brass Corinthian column mounts.
