A mid 19c French mantle clock, the movement rack striking on a bell and having a 3.5" diameter white enamel dial. It is contained in a rococo style Paris porcelain waisted case, gilded and decorated with vignettes of cherubs with garlands, it stands on a separate porcelain base with similar gilt and white decoration, 14" tall overall.
A mid 19c English bracket clock by Matthews of Penrith with double fusee movement striking on a bell and having a 5" diameter silvered convex dial. It is contained in a Gothic style bronzed mantel case with castellated top and Gothic tracery to the sides and front. The base has cast scroll feet and the top is surmounted with three Gothic finials, 16" tall overall.
A late 19c English mantel clock consisting of a double fusee movement mounted in a rectangular glazed case which in turn sits on a panelled and stepped solid rectangular base which is grained and polished. The twin chain fusee movement is hour striking on a bell and has a 6" diameter white painted dial with a cut out centre. The pendulum swings within the solid base and the clock stands 16" tall.
A mid 19c French mantel clock , the ormolu case in the form of a Gothic church, the pointed arched body containing the 3.5" fretted dial with a traceried window below. This, in turn, stands on a stepped base cast with Gothic decoration and the case is surmounted by a pointed bell tower. The movement is rack striking on a bell, the case is lacking two statues flanking the centre window, it stands 22" tall overall.
