A Fine 19th Century Gilt Bronze Patent Calendar Clock signed Bricot & Delettrez Paris. The dial having a raised chapter ring encircling a subsidiary calendar dial, a days of the week dial and a moon aperture amidst painted sky. The movement striking the half hours on a bell and set into a domed case surmounted by a silvered globe studded with small stars and encompassed by a ring of horoscopic emblems. The case flanked by winged cherubs draped in billowing cloths above swirling clouds on a fine verde marble break-front D-ended base, 20 ins (51 cms) in height, 15 ins (38 cms) wide.
