Storrs, London, c 1820, 29½" overall, bell mouth barrel 14" with octagonal breech bearing Birmingham proofs, engraved London in gothic script, and with 12½" spring bayonet released by thumb catch on breech tang, flat stepped lock with safety bolt, rainproof pan and roller on frizzen spring, the plate engraved with scrolls and "J. Storrs", walnut fullstock with finely chequered twist, engraved steel mounts, brass tipped wooden ramrod with concealed worm. GWO & generally untouched condition, (dark patina to metalwork, with some surface rust and light pitting to steel parts). See front cover
