A Victorian eight day mantel clock striking on a bell (bell missing), the case with scroll acanthus feet, drop handles and acanthus borders to the body with stepped top rising to a two handled urn. The eight day two barrel movement has Brocot suspension (suspension spring missing), the face in ivory porcelain with black gothic numerals and cast fretted gilt centre with lion mask. 22x15x40cm. high.Good general condition, believed working but needing suspension spring for pendulum. One drop on one handle broken off, securing nut beneath urn missing.

Kharlap, Warsaw, 1886, body engraved with band of Greek key decoration, domed pedestal base on three fruiting vine feet, the steeple resting on four eagles above a structure with ropework supports with bell dependent, capped by a ball finial below a pennant, the door engraved with diaperwork, marked on door, pennant and foot, 27 cm high, Provenance:- South Portland Street Synagogue, The Gorbals, GlasgowIn good order but lacking the 4 bells dependent from lower body, 3 of the 4 rings to take bells are present but one ring is absent
A fine mantel clock by Frodsham, Gracechurch Street, London, in rosewood case with bar handle on scroll supports having lions' heads, bevelled glass side and top panels, the double fusee movement chiming on a bell ( replacement of the original coiled gong), the silvered face with subsidiary seconds dial and engraved quadrants.This estimate reflects the need for specialist replacements/repairs to the movement to this desirable clock.

French green marble and gilt mantel clock, circular cream enamel dial with arabic numeral chapter ring and painted floral swag, the clock surmounted by a winged female and putti with arm outstretched, highly decorative with floral swags, movement bearing a disc "Mougin Deux Medalles", bell strike, overall height 60cm.
Oak longcase clock, cavetto cornice above a moulded arch, the hood with three quarter columns, long arched door, plinth base, 12” arched brass dial with cast spandrels, silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the arch signed John Bates, Kettering, eight day movement striking on a bell, 223cm height.
19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONG CASE CLOCK, by Thomas Tratt of Bristol, having arched hood with brass finials above arched aperture, flanked by spirally turned gilt metal mounted columns, the waist with moulded rectangular door, having satinwood strung outline, flanked by similar spirally turned, gilt metal mounted, columns on a panelled strung outlined base. Painted face with rolling moon, Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. 19 x 13.5 inches, eight day movement striking on one bell. Overall 98 inches high. CONDITION REPORT: A little dry and lacking in patination but basically complete bar missing original feet, some cracking and minor losses to veneers.
