Beautiful internal wheel-lock, finely engraved with hunters and hounds hunting a deer, tree's trunk carved with anthropomorphic figure, spring cover with a rooster, cock with double dragon's head, pan marked 'Ch', spark arrester and sliding pan cover. Wooden, full stock with bone mounts, engraved with a lion, birds, steinbock, bear and floral motifs. Iron anatomical trigger-guard, lower base with two feet. Trigger with set-trigger. dating: first quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Spanish Empire, Interesting, smooth-bore, 20 mm cal. barrel, with octagonal base, with remains of gilded marks with arrows and cross, another big, square mark at the breech, gilded and unreadable. Two, silver-inlaid snakes alongside. Round second part of the barrel, provided with a finely relieved rib that is detached from a chiselled arrow's tip and runs until the nozzle, bell-mouthed and provided with silver-plated moulded muzzle. Rib is silver-inlaid with rinceaux. Two, silver flowers on the nozzle sides (tulips?), with a long stem. Barrel's tang with some silver-inlaid letters. Miquelet locks with elements chiselled with grooves. Batterie with a shell, relieved on the back. Wooden, full stock with frames with a fuller around some elements, butt of typical shape. Silver mounts (smallest parts missing), held by brass or silver nails. Two, pierced plates around the barrel's tang, and engraved with rinceaux. Grip sides with silver plates, engraved and pierced with floral motifs. Back with a sea snake. Lower part with a thick, silver plate that frames the trigger-guard. Silver butt-plate with a fine, relieved mask. Counter-plate in silver foil, engraved, and provided with a long, iron belt hook. Fine barrel bracket, engraved and pierced with an emblem of Central American style, supported by the two lions. Rare, silver-tipped, iron ramrod with anti-falling lock, that can be hinged to a barrel bracket; iron cartridge extractor. length 43,5 cm.

Great Midcentury Modern colouful and stylised illustration by Ray Rikir showing a view of the river Meuse seen through an open window with the Town Hall tower and the church bell tower overlooking the river. In the foreground of the image, a black bearskin hat and a drum are lying on the window seal. Vise is renowed for its Royal Company of the Franks Arquebusiers or Drums Corps, who was founded in 1579. Dissolved after the fall of the Old Regime, they have since the 19e century reformed into pleasure societies and parade through the streets of the Mosan city twice a year. Printed in Belgium by Imp. Featured in the background is Ontario's famous and iconic landmark the Peace Tower, also known as the Tower of Victory and Peace, a focal bell and clock tower sitting on the central axis of the Centre Block of the Canadian parliament buildings in Ottawa, Ontario. A rare and unique The Vintage Model Co. made ' Flying Scale Model ' wooden kit of a De Havilland Tiger Moth. Brand new, unused, and 100% complete. The model, box, and instruction booklet comes signed by WWII Second World War 61 Squadron veterans - Benny Goodman (617 Sq. Pilot), John Bell (617 Sq. Bomb Aimer) and last surviving Dambuster George Johnny Johnson (Bomb Aimer). All obtained in person by the vendor. A wonderful kit (wingspan when finished 46cm).
