A large quantity of Royal Albert Old Country Roses, to include a dinner service setting for six, two teapots, two coffee pots, coffee cups and saucers, tea cups and saucers, sugar bowls and milk and cream jugs, sauce boats and stands, tureen and cover, cake plates and wall clocks, oval serving platters and dishes and table ornaments of posey vases in the form of shoes, cigarette boxes, pot pourri, bell and other items (five boxes) There is a mixture between 1sts and 2nds throughout the lot, in particular three of the teapots are seconds with scratches through the marks on the bases. The majority of pieces don’t show much signs of use but there is some minor wearing to a few of the pieces, mostly around the gilded edges on the plates and saucers. With a lot of this size it’s difficult to go through every single piece but I would class the overall condition to be very good in my opinion

Y A William IV rosewood cased bracket clock, Taylor, Bristol, circa 1835, the eight-day bell striking movement with 9.5inch brass Roman numeral dial inscribed for the maker to the centre, the case with pagoda top and moulded and panelled base with flanking scrolls, 53cm high, together with a rosewood bracket, circa 1835 and later, 36cm high, 37cm wide, 21cm deep Condition Report: The case with marks, knocks, scratches, consistent with age and use, old splits and cracks especially to he pagoda. the pagoda top has broken off - this is present with the lot, this will require restoration, there are signs of old glue in this area from previous repair. Signs of polish residue tot he the timber near the dial, the centre of the dial with area of wear.The clock will tick when wound, and the movement appears to have been cleaned fairly recently - but Dreweatts have not tested the movement and cannot make any guarantees or comments as to accuracy or if the movement is working we suggest getting the clock appraised by a professional clock restorer prior to use. Does run but stops after 10 minutes or so ( may not be set up here properly ) Striking mechanism disconnected and may have a missing part. The case is in good condition. It has been restored and has some old worm holes to the hood door and other areas. It does have its original door key and working lock.There may be some re-veneering and other repairs to the case.The hood glass is not original , nor is the lenticle glass. Please see additional images. On further inspection by our clock specialist we do believe the movement is not original to the case. It is a six pillar movement not a four pillar as previously described.Dial measures approximately 28cm x 28cm

The repeat cord is missing but the mechanism is still in place and works. The dial has some general wear to the painted finish and minor chips and has been touched in . The case has a piece of brass stringing loose on the top right hand side and a chip to the left top - see extra images.The movement is un-signed but appears to be correct to the case. The case width is 29 cm wide at the base and 26.5 cm at the trunk.

The clock strikes and repeats . The rear of the case is bleached by the sun and the bottom of the rear door has a slice of mahogany missing.- see extra imagesOn further inspection by our clock specialist we have now moved the base board of the movement (which had slipped backward) allowing the free travel of the pendulum and the clock is now working
