A late George II silver ogee baluster caster by Jabez Daniell, London no date letter (leopard`s head stamped twice), with a bell finial to the scroll and dot pierced cover, on a moulded circular foot, engraved `F` over `IM`, 16.5cm (6 1/2in) high, 182g (5.85 oz). Jabez Daniell entered this mark in July 1749.

A Queen Anne silver porringer by Robert Timbrell & Joseph Bell I, London 1710, plain with a slightly everted rim, twin cast S-scroll handles, engraved with an armorial and `DE` over a star over `G` verso, 10cm (4in) high, 336g (10.8 oz). This well executed cartouche is alluring but the male side of the arms, ostensibly for Lord Chief Justice Popham`s family, has the two stag heads engraved on a partition shaded the wrong way as well as being too deep to be acceptable. Additionally the star below it is too large to be the mark for a third son but too small to be a substantive charge. It must therefore remain an unidentified or spurious armorial.

A well engineered 4 1/2 inch scale model of a Burrell agricultural traction engine, built by Mr D. Barker of Leicestershire to the Plastows design, the Franklin & Bell steel boiler with expanded tubes, the fittings including water sight gauge, pressure gauge, safety valves, blower, injector, whistle, clack and other valves, the engine with single cylinder of approximately 3 inch bore by 4 1/2 inch stroke, fitted cylinder drain cocks with associated copper pipework, cross-head guide with brass lubricators, ratchet mechanical lubricator, Stephenson`s link reverse, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, two road speeds and spoked flywheel, the chassis with spoked and straked wheels fitted with rubber road tyres and polished brass hub caps, cable drum, rear-wheel hand-brake and fitted tool box to side, finished in apple green and black paintwork with polished brightwork and brass banding to the boiler barrel. Boiler history: Franklin & Bell of Gloucester steel boiler No. FB363. Original certificate of conformity dated 14th May 2000. Design pressure 220 p.s.i. Working pressure 110 p.s.i. Hydraulic Certificate of Test No. 1757AB, carried out by Mr J.A. Glaze of Wolverhampton, signed and dated 2nd May 2000.
