A Green Chinoiserie Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed John Anderton, London, circa 1730, flat top pediment, side viewing glass panels, case with Oriental gilt painted scenes throughout with pagodas, figures on horseback, birds and floral decoration, 12-inch arch brass dial with a Roman and Arabic silvered chapter ring, dial centre with ringed winding holes, date aperture, seconds dial and signed on a silvered oval plaque, arch with engraved sunburst silvered plaque, four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell243cm highCase with cracks and small chips to surfaces in parts, right hand side of the hood with both capitals missing to the back column, case with woodworm holes in parts which appear to be non active, trunk door is bowed, later painted top finials, dial slightly discoloured and with staining marks in places, very thin pieces of wooden blocks later added to the case side cheeks beneath the seatboard, later seatboard, with pendulum and two weights.

A heavy polished Brass cased Mantel/Bracket Clock having an enamelled face with Roman numerals, the two two train movement by Japy Freres, numbered 8062 having an external count wheel and striking on a bell. There is a regulating spindle above 12 o'clock position and the case as swept foliage extending to form the feet and the case is surmounted by an angel, 14 3/4'' high x 9 3/8'' wide x 4 3/8'' deep.
