William Brayfield is recorded circa 1678-1688 and was fined five shillings in 1688 for making a bad watch case.214cm highCondition report: Overall complete and usable and has been running in the house. A 19th century bronze and brass Thomason-type corkscrew with turned handle, a lacquered brass three-draw telescope, a Mauchline ware egg enclosing a white metal thimble and a brass thimble, a small copper oval dish and an embossed metal cigarette box (5).Additional InformationThe corkscrew has a heavy and abrasive polished appearance throughout. Old scuffs and knocks to the surface of the bronze bell throughout, the handle is not original and has been recently turned to be used as a replacement, lacking the small loop to the top of the handle. The small telescope with some dents and general tarnishing throughout. Mauchline ware egg with wear to the varnished finish. Other items with general wear.
