A 19th century rosewood library clock, by Samuel Bartholomew Gaze, the silvered dial inscribed 'S B Gaze, London', with bell striking alarm and fusee movement, 23.5cm high. Condition Report: Good, in working order. Case faded and frieize missing in places. Glass all intact. Damage to lock area and surround of dial. Silvered dial tarnished slightly. Hour hand repaired. Case key (not original). Winding key and pendulum present. Base measures 15.5cm x 14,5cm. Description reads S B Glaze.

The bases of ovoid form, intricately decorated with traditional Japanese patterning comprising blossom, scrolls and Geisha figures, finished with raised gilt glazed accents. both in excellent condition, height approx 27 inches.
Autograph Interest Notecard With Peter Pan Reference Attributed To J M Barrie Dated February 1909 Framed Note Of Thanks believed to be handwritten by the author of Peter Pan and Wendy. Dated Feb 1909 (Between the first public performance of the play in 1904 and the publishing of the book in 1911) The note is hand written in cursive script, to the top left, printed in blue ink is the word 'Tinker Bell' with cursive underlining. The card reads 'Must get some ''Fairy Dust'' from the fairies if you want to fly. Love from Peter Pan'. Dear Diana, many thanks for your nice letter JM'. The card is dated to top left Feb 21/09. Framed and mounted in small period frame, the mount shows several areas of staining, there are some areas of foxing to the letter. According to our client this item has remained in the family's possession from the early 20th century.
