A George III Silver and Mother-of-Pearl Travelling Canteen, the teaspoon by Richard Crossley, London, 1802, the folding fork and knife each part marked, circa 1802, in fitted red leather case, the case 10.5cm high; Together With: a copper-gilt child's rattle and whistle, apparently unmarked, 18th century, the whistle end engraved with initials and dated 1740, 15cm wideCondition report: Folding fork with a crack to the mother-of-pearl handle. Otherwise in very good condition. Knife - 7 1/4 inches. Fork - 7 inches. Fork and knife are sprung. Teaspoon fits convincingly in case, but is not part of the set. Case in reasonable condition. Rattle lacking one bell, the mouthpiece with several dents. 15cm long. Whistle does work.

Japanese waniguchi crocodile mouth bronze bell in a flat round form. There is a central floral decoration in low relief on both sides; the obverse has an incised calligraphy border. There are two semicircular handles along the top of the bell, allowing it to be suspended from a rope.
