A rare North Shields Pottery tankard for the 1826 Northumberland Election depicting "A Heat between the four candidates at Alnwick BELL, LIDDELL, BEAUMONT & HOWICK" transfer printed in brown, with red and blue enamel and pink and copper lustre bands, pieces depicting Howick are rarer as he pulled out of the contest after only a few weeks of campaigning, circa 1826.
