A 1960s two piece, trousers and cropped top in black knitted lycra silk trimmed with a brown and cream patterned fabric, sleeves taper to a full fan design, the bodice has two ties and covered buttons opening diagonally across bodice, with V neck. The matching trousers include inserts of brown and cream patterned fabric to create large bell bottoms, tight fitting on leg, made by "Sportaville, Made in London England". Size small. Also, a pair of early 1970s "Horrocks' Fashions" printed cotton trousers, abstract colourful pattern in red, beige, white and black. (3).

Vanessa Bell - Clarice Cliff - A Coronet shape jug circa 1934, decorated in the Vanessa Pattern with a band of circles, spots and crosses to the upper rim with spot line border, printed signature, height 15.5cm.  N.B - This was designed by Bloomsbury artist Vanessa Bell for the 1934 Harrods and Art in Industry 'Modern Art for the Table' exhibitions. Marked 'First Edition'. In 1934 Foley China and Clarice Cliff were asked to produce a range of table wares for the exhibitions and notable artists of the day such as Paul Nash, Laura Knight, Duncan Grant, Graham Sutherland, Gordon Forsyth, Ben Nicholson and Barbara Hepworth were invited to submit designs. Due to poor marketing, the public were largely unaware of the designs and after an initial twelve sets were commissioned of each, further production was halted.

A circa 1900 French marble and gilt-metal portico clock: 10 cm white-enamel Roman dial signed 'Sarton', within a gilt drum case with gilt-brass tasseled lattice apron; signed J. Marti et Cie movement, no. 2388, striking the hours and half hours on a bell; sunburst pendulum, the white and grey marble case with gilt-metal classical mask and flower-basket mounts; turned gilt-metal feet. (38 cm high)* Condition: Movement winds and runs, strikes correctly. Dial good overall, with some flaking to the enamel to the edge of the left hand winding hole. Case has surface dirt and wear to gilt overall. Small chip to marble to bottom of right hand column, a crack to one back corner of the pediment and a few small nicks and nibbles to marble to edges around the case. The portico section is leaning forwards slightly on the columns, although the clock is completely stable.

Three rummers and a wine glass: 1. a late-Georgian etched and cut glass oversized rummer, ovoid bowl with comb-cut and floral-etched band below the rim, the bowl wheel-engraved with an armorial, over basal petal cutting, panel-cut stem and solid foot with ground pontil (20.3 cm high). 2. a similar smaller oversized rummer, on a capstan stem and square solid foot (16.1 cm high). 3. a Victorian cut glass rummer, (14.8 cm high). 4. a 20th century copy of an 18th century wine glass, bell-shaped bowl, plain, slightly tapered stem and plain foot without pontil (20.4 cm high).

A George III period mahogany eight-day longcase clock: the arched moulded cornice above a 12-inch circular silvered dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds hand under the 12 o' clock position and the date aperture above the 6 o' clock position, signed 'Thos. Field, Bath'; the movement with anchor escapement and striking on a single bell; flame mahogany shaped trunk door flanked by canted fluted corners; shaped apron and raised on bracket feet. (206 cm high x 51 cm wide at base).

A rare and fine mid-17th century brass bell-base candlestick, by Stephan Forster, Nuremberg, circa 1650 The single-ribbed and large bulbous socket with flared flange, on a ball-knop stem, atop a dished circular drip-pan with three lines of decoration, on a bell base, again with decorative lines, stamped to the footrim ’S F’, the initials centred by three crossed arrows, height 19.5cm, base diameter 16.5cm  Literature: Herman P. Lockner, ‘Die Merkzeichen der Nürnberger Rotschmiede’ (1981), p. 93, lists and illustrates the mark (no.729) for the candlestick maker, Stephen Forster, who became master in 1637, and died before or during 1694. He was the father of Konrad Forster. The high standard of workmanship, the hallmark of the Nuremberg brass industry throughout the 16th and 17th centuries is evident here. Brass of superior quality is used, the stem is finely cast and the base skilfully lathe-turned to a very thin gauge. For a comparable pair see C. Bangs, ’The Lear Collection’ (1995), no. 90, again maker marked to the footrim (Melchior & Schuster).

With a reproduction song sheet and in a walnut and faux rosewood case, stamped with a serial number 6995. Cylinder 23.5cms long, case 56cms by 34cms, 29.5cms high. *CR In good working order with a nice tone, teeth and tips all present, stop/play lever slips back a little when moved so may need a little attention. Two limited edition Steiff Teddy Bears, including 'Teddybar 1951 Blond 50', No 3035 of 4000 made, with a growler mechanism and with a white label and certificate (50cms high), and 'Bell Boy Bear', No 1288 of 2000 made, with a growler mechanism and with a white label (40cms high, no certificate). (2). *CR Good condition.

Lot 841

A porcelain model of a seated Pug dog with bell collar, incised number '199' and with feint Crossed Swords mark (10.5cms high). Also with a pair of small Meissen Pugs scratching their ears, and with a bell collars. With feint Crossed Swords marks to the bases (6cms high). (3). *CR Larger Pug, spots of paint loss around the mouth, small indentation to the back of one leg (probably from manufacture). Pair, couple of the bells possibly re touched with gilding, higher ear possible retouching/restoration to edge of ear, ribbon - back has been restored and now has no gilding. The other seems generally fine, one ear possibly retouched around the edge.

Lot 838

A large late 19thc model of a seated Pug, painted in coloured enamels and wearing a bell collar. Incised number '102', and Meissen Crossed Swords mark in underglaze blue. 23.5cms high. *CR Seems in good condition, no noticeable damage or restoration. *This is probably second quality.

Lot 839

Including a pair of yellow glazed porcelain models of standing Pug dogs (13cms high) and another similar, also with a blue glazed model of a Pug (13cms high) and seated pink Pug (10.5cms high). Most unmarked, the pink Pug has some incised numbers. (5). *CR Pink, ribbon on collar restored and also one bell, black mark/small hole to one leg. Blue, chip to ribbon, some paint loss underneath Yellow Pugs, two seem fine, one with leg broken and nibble to foot.

Lot 845

A mixed group of six various porcelain Pug Dogs, the largest standing pug without a collar (15.5cms high), the next largest with a bell collar and with impressed makers mark to the base (9cms high). A small Pug possibly by Meissen (feint mark possibly Meissen Crossed Swords (6.5cms high), and three other various models (8cms, 7cms, and 6cms high). (6). *CR Largest, various cracks to the body and head, restoration to ear and foot which has yellowed over time, small nibbles in places Next Largest, two legs and one foot have been broken and repaired, chip to foot. Possibly Meissen Pug, front leg I think has been restored. 8cms Pug, bell restored, crack to the body 7cms Pug, collar - paint worn 6cms Pug, leg broken and repaired.

Lot 833

Six similar glasses, probably 18thc with bell shaped bowls and air twist spiral stems. Four glasses 16cms high, two 15.5cms high. (6). *CR One with two small nibbles to the rim One with a small chip to the rim One with a small chip to the footrim The others seem generally fine with some air bubbles in places to the bowls and wear to the bases over time.
