A George III oak provincial longcase clock, the 30 hour movement striking on a bell stamped 'W. H. & Co. Bristol', to a 10in square brass dial with date aperture and silvered chapter ring inscribed 'Jno Ettry, Horton', with cherub mask spandrels, the base reduced, 6ft 3.5in (192cm) h. Brian Loomes states ' John Ettry, Horton, ca. 1750-70'.
