DAVID BOWIE - S/T LP (ORIGINAL US MONO PRESSING - DE 16003). A superb condition original US mono pressing of the debut album from Mr Jones, this copy also promo stamped on the sleeve. The record is in fantastic Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely faint, tiny and wispy paper markings that are only really noted under intense LED lighting. With brilliant clean, sharp and bright labels. Matrix: ARL 7656-1 & ARL 7567-1 with Bell Sound and sf on both sides. The sleeve is in stunning Ex+ condition. Still housed with the original shrink that has a sticker stating 'Special 98¢ Tectron Records' on it (on top of the shrink not on the sleeve). The reverse is stamped 'PROMO COPY NOT FOR SALE'. Presented in top condition, there is only some very slight edgewear.

One supporter has minor losses to marble. Minor wear with age. No key. The pendulum appears ok with mercury present.

Painted face with floral spandrels and arch, Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. The face is 58 x 29cm approx. Eight day two train movement, strikes on one bell. Overall 228cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Case is a little worn and tired but appears complete. The face is grubby and worn with some letters not legible. Seconds dial missing. Movement very grubby, dusty and unloved.

Two train movement striking on one steel bell. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in good condition. The hood is all mahogany. The rest of the carcass is oak with mahogany cross banding. Vertical split to base. Includes two weights, pendulum.

Together with a pair of rococo style bronzed spelter two handled vase shaped supporters having relief scrollwork decoration on square black veined marble bases with gilt metal feet. The supporters 33cm high approx. (3) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: General wear, rather grubby with age. No serious damage noted. One handle to fish basket may be missing.

Repainted face having Roman numerals, floral spandrels and cottage scene to the arch, seconds dial and dater aperture, face 49 x 34cm approx. Eight day two train movement, striking on one bell. Overall 223cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Appearing good condition generally. Face having been repainted, case a little dry but basically good. Includes two weights, winding key and pendulum. We do not test if working - sold as seen.

VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Additions and alterations, repair to the door. The base has been reduced, the hood has got an added pediment. The case generally is poor. The case has vertical architectural type pillars.

The case lacks its bronze pediment and loop handles. The case has splits in places. Some of the brass inlay is lifting and there are losses to that panel. Lacks its original bell. Rather grubby overall.

A 19th century Swiss made cased cylinder music box, playing over eight aires, the rosewood veneered hinged cover decorated with a polychrome musical still life set within strung borders, opening to reveal the three-bell movement with a 43 tooth comb set within a further hinged glazed compartment (A/F), the case in a simulated rosewood finish, on short bracket feet, 21 cm high 46 x 26 cm.
