Good Working Order and Condition (bayonet pitted, light rust to steel parts, the butt has traces of old repairs). Plate 18 Note: Gill worked in Birmingham from 1744 to 1800 and had addresses in London at Charing Cross and Strand.

Good Working Order and Condition (slight damage to fore end, the bayonet catch fails to fully engage with the bayonet) Plate 19

A Fine French Louis XV Style GIlt Bronze Mantel Clock. The movement striking a bell and stamped Vincenti et Cie Medaille d'Argent and set in a black patinated globe with gilt Roman numeral hour counters and engraved serpent pointers. The globe surmounted by a pair of gilded lovebirds and festooned in garlands of flowers, raised on a pedestal of swirling clouds with Cupids bow and quiver of arrows to the base. The white marble D-ended base edged on gilt beading and terminating on toupee feet, 19½ ins (50 cms) in height.

A Pair of Late 19th Century Plum Pudding Mahogany and Ormolu Mounted Bedside Cabinets in the Louis XVI Style. The oval cabinets each having a brêche green marble top above a frieze drawer and bow fronted cupboard edged in wrythen beading and adorned with quartered rosettes to the corners. The pilasters mounted with paterae above pendant garlands of flowers, raised on stop fluted legs with spurs of bell-flowers rising up the flutes and united by on oval quarter veneered undershelf. The cabinet interiors lined in marble, 29½ ins (75 cms) hgih, 16½ ins x 13¾ ins (42 cms x 35 cms).

VERY RARE ALIEN BLASTER ; an original 1970's HG Toys Alien Blaster Giant Target Set shooting game made in the USA. Within the original box, the game appearing mostly complete with clips, gun and original instructions. The large cardboard standup alien having bell target to centre with moving hands and head. c1979. Dubbed 'one of the rarest toys on the planet' this was originally issued prior to the release of the 1979 film Alien. 20th Century Fox had sold toy companies the licenses to market games and figures based upon the script. Of course, the final film turned out to be far from child-friendly so toy companies ceased production. This is a rare survivor from a very short production period.
