W.Kipling, London, a Georgian silver pair cased hour repeating pocket watch, 1705-37, the two piece hinged case with white enamel dial, black Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, and blued steel beetle and poker hands, the verge fusee movement with cylindrical pillar, dial false plate and repeating barrel engraved with acanthus leaf design, pierced balance cock with a D shaped foot engraved with mask, three arm steel balance, undersprung balance spring, silvered regulator disc, and hours repeating on bell, the inner case pierced and engraved around the band with birds amongst foliage, and with a cartouche at the bottom and at the pendant, each engraved with buildings, the outer case pierced and chased with foliate scrolls and engraved with a coat of arms.
