Clock 19.5ins high.

LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRASS FOUR GLASS TWO TRAIN MANTEL CLOCK, having Roman enamelled face, French brass drum movement striking on one bell with compensated type glass pendulum (now lead filled). 27.5cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall the case is worn of its original gilding, very grubby and tarnished. The face appearing clean and good. Pendulum has had its mercury removed and replaced by lead. Includes key.
18TH CENTURY HEREFORDSHIRE OAK 30 HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK marked 'Ralph Sayer, Kington', the case with flat moulded hood above square aperture flanked by three quarter turned pillasters, plain rectangular waist door on a panelled base with skirted support. Face has Roman chapter ring and pierced foliate spandrels, single finger. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell, 10 x 10" dial approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Good coloured, well polished face. Case has good colour, split to the base between base boards. The skirted stand is later and the moulded cornice is probably later. A Ralph Sayer recorded in London 1748. Includes pendulum but might not have weight.
19TH CENTURY CHANNEL ISLANDS MAHOGANY 8 DAY LONGCASE CLOCK marked J. Le Gallais, Jersey, the case with later turned finials, broken scroll pediment over arched aperture, flanked by baluster turned columns above waist with moulded pointed arch door, panelled base on bracket frieze feet. Painted arch face with seconds and date dials, Roman numerals and painted animals to spandrels with girl and rabbits to the arch. 8 day two train movement striking on one bell. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall in basically good condition, rather dusty and grubby. Finials are later editions. columns are detached, includes pendulum.
18TH CENTURY OAK 8 DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the face marked Joshua Alloway?, Taunton, the case overall later carved with broken swan neck pediment above moulded cornice, square aperture flanked by fluted columns, arch waisted door, panel base on bracket feet. Brass face with pierced foliate spandrels, Roman chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture, 8 day two train movement striking on one bell. The face 7.5 x 12" dial approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall appearing to be in good condition, includes two lead weights and brass bob pendulum. The case later copiously carved but appearing in good condition. The name on the face is difficult to be sure but appears to be either Alloway or Allorvay. Joshua Alloway recorded London circa 1726.
A GROUP OF THREE 18TH CENTURY GLASS PEDESTAL DRINKING GLASSES to include; tall hive shaped cordial glass with opaque and double air twist stem on a plain circular foot (19cm high approx), together with another similar with multiple opaque twist stem on plain foot (15cm high approx) and a smaller bell shaped wheel engraved drinking glass with bubble base and multiple opaque twist stem on circular foot (13.5cm high approx). LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY OAK CASED 8 DAY TWO TRAIN LONGCASE CLOCK by 'James Green of Gloucester', the hood having broken swan neck pediment above square aperture flanked by gun barrel turned pilasters, the waist with cross banded, plain waist door flanked by quarter reeded pilasters on a panel base with bracket feet. Brass 12" square face with Roman chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture, two train movement, striking on one bell. 220cm high overall approx.(B.P. 21% + VAT)(B.P. 21% + VAT) Appearing in good condition, minor wear commensurate with age. Includes weight and pendulum with winder. Lacks the eagle and spike brass cresting to the pediment, otherwise ok.

Original well painted arched face with seconds dial, Roman numerals and date aperture, gilded and painted shells and flowers to the spandrels and arch. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell. 20" x 14" face approx.(B.P. 21% + VAT)(B.P. 21% + VAT) Appearing good original condition, commensurate with age. Some wear and tear. Facing good, appearing original condition, includes pendulum and weight.

The sides also having porcelain panels. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Two pineapple finials missing from the back of the case, rather grubby overall with some wear to the porcelain panels in places.
