Together with a pair of Mark V, special WW1/WW2 issue, field binoculars. Adjustable lenses with broad arrow stamp. Complete in their brown leather transit case (lid loose). 2 items.
1897 Pattern Indian Army Issue Officer's Sword 32 3/4 inch, dumb bell blade with central fuller. The forte marked Wilkinson I.S.D.. The reverse with broad arrow over 1. Steel, scroll pierced guard with KC GRI cypher. Plated, part checkered backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather covered field scabbard. The throat dated 1928. Complete with leather sword knot.
Attributed 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword 33 1/4 inch, issue dumb bell blade with central fuller. Forte stamped Proved. White metal foliage pierced guard with KC GRV cypher. White metal, checkered backstrap. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather covered, field scabbard complete with leather sword frog. Plated pierced guard with QC strung bugle cartouche. Plated checkered backstrap. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather covered, field scabbard. Ideal for a current serving Officer. Clean condition.
Joseph Wilson of Stamford. An early 19thC flame mahogany longcase clock, the enamel break arch dial with moon phase, painted spandrels of cornucopia, the dial bearing Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, eight day two train movement with bell strike, the hood with swan neck pediment and central urn surmount, foliate blind fret work, above a glazed door flanked by triple columns, brass capped, the trunk door with Gothic arch tracery flanked by triple columns, raised on a panelled base and ogee bracket feet, with pendulum and key, 255cm high. Joseph Wilson, circa 1820, is listed in Lincolnshire Clock, Watch & Barometer Makers (Wilbourn & Ellis) p.114.
